As a result, we spend more time proportionally on our health per week than other parts of the country, and because of climate, are able to engage in more outdoor activities than less favorable climate regions.one would think, if that were true, that more people would spend LESS time out in the sun. a lot of people here are just inviting skin cancer like you wouldn't believe --- and that's not even to mention how much older tanning makes a person look .l.a. is also the fast food capital of the u.s. there are fast food joints every two blocks or so: el pollo loco, del taco, taco bell, jack in the box, mcdonald's, burger king, wendy's, kfc, arby's, carl's jr., fatburger, in-n-out, weinerschnitzel... o, and there are donut places everywhere. if you wanna talk healthy eating, you're thinking of san francisco.and then, of course, there are all the people who just go the surgery route instead of getting exercise and eating right.
