brianbb Posted April 26 Report Share Posted April 26 Vegas is backwards as far as clubs go...ive had the best time at the real commercialized clubs and absolutely hated all of the "in" places.it seemed like the commercial places were filled with tourists but it was filled with tourists who believed your suppose to go wild in vegas. alot of hot overly drunk chicks letting loose.the "really cool locals" places sucked. everyone was a dancer or a bouncer from another club with a very large stick up there ass. fake fake fake this was 3 years ago maybe its changed but i doubt it. Once ur in, there isnt anything special, jsut alot of corny white folk from Kansas tryin to dance. Personally, I heard better music at the strip club.My friends have seen Morillo and AVB in Vegas and they loved it, so I would go on to Vegas board to see who is playin that weekend at least. luztidara Posted April 26 Report Share Posted April 26 Freaks. From a nyc standpoint the only clubs I encountered in a music/dance sense was ice and utopia. I think utopia is gone though. If you can leave nyc music for a hot minute you can have fun. Drais was ok. Lotta escorts up in that piece. RA had/has wednesdays that are house/edm oriented. Rum Jungle's a good place to drink. allesium afterhours sucked if it still exists. Studio 54 was way fun. Rain sucked. Reminded me of webster and china club all in one. The one in the alladin sucked also though the lasers were cool. I can't remember anymore but maybe I will remember some others. Now go play with your butt plug freak. mrvegas Posted April 28 Report Share Posted April 28 I'm from Ohio and the First time I came here Rain was one the Top Clubs anywhere and it was overwhelming, but that was years ago. Now it's like a big frat party. Over priced (as they all are) too packed and Pop music. If you are into that scene rain is perfect. I've been a local for almost a year and i went rain the first day i moved here and haven't been back. And if you don't like pop or hip-hop avoid rain. Rain was the "It" Club. I think Pure is now the number one tourist destination. I personally think Body E. is the best overall club. It's mostly Top 40 music though but sundays are crazy there. Tourist are programmed to Rain cause it was on MTV. With that said, If you have never been to Vegas and are looking for an Over the Top club. Go to Rain. If you have been there or Major clubs, you will be disapointed. I can say that the times i did go to Rain there were some fine Birds....
