nomembername Posted May 3 Report Share Posted May 3 Glad they got this one in and I was able to watch it even though there was a 2 hour rain delay (just meant more drinking time for me at the bar). All around great game. Pedro looked great again going 7 innings, giving up one earned run. Not sure what the hell he was doing when he was jumping around when Floyd made that nice catch but atleast he seems to be having fun. It was great to see Beltran come up big in the 7th with that 3-run bomb he hit to help get Pedro the win which he deserved.And it is always fun watching Reyes who went 4 for 5 with a couple of steals. He is a machine on the bases. Loved it when the crowd got into it on his last at bat when he had a 3 and 1 count, cheering that he gets his 1st walk of the year. Didn't happen but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.Glavine, do us a favor and how bout pitching good instead of killing our momentum. That is all!LET'S GO METS!!!! wallflour Posted May 4 Report Share Posted May 4 I was there also. The rain delay sucked, and it was mad cold, but the game was great, especially Beltran's home run. Funny how everyone was pulling for Reyes to get a walk near the end. Lots of empty seats, but the people there were full of energy, I was able to move down a few rows to get a better view.Because of the delay, people who went can get free tickets to a game during either the Astros or Phillies series in June.
