If you have visited Miami a few times and say to yourself, "Self, I *have* to move to Miami, I cannot imagine a better place to live." Then you, like funketeer and myself, will love it here. New York was settled in the 1600's while Miami is about 100 years old.I couldn't have put it better myself. I'm originally from NY also. And I love both cities. Certain things I like about one and hate about the other and vice versa. I hate the parking situation in NY and I hate the drivers in Miami. I love the weather in Miami and I love the women in NY, they don't have fake boobs, lips and tans but their overall persona makes them sexy. I hate the fact that the subways in NY get packed during rush hour and I hate the fact that miami doesn't have one. I'm torn between NY and MIAMI. If I can have it my way, I'd live here during the fall and winter and in NY during spring and summer. The two cities are vastly different. No point in comparing them. I would stay in NY for Summer and Fall, love the fall colors and the lead up to the Holidays and the first snow fall... it's the late Winter and Spring that are really brutal up there, constant cold rain, yuck!
