marcodavalos
.........What do you guys think of the horn that some clubs/djs use to give that extra "punch" ?.
sobeton
hate it! let the beat control your body! CrzyC
funketeer
I like it when used properly...actually, the horn should be used no more than 3 times per night(at the most)...it's meant to "drop the hammer"using too much is cheesyI hear the horn and I'm transported to The Mix
justinjohnson
The only reason I hate it is because it's NEVER in the same key as the song that's playing, so it's always painful to my ears.
pod
I don't care as long as it doesn't make me spill my drink.

stogiey2k2
It is ok, just can take too much of it.Rather it be used at very select moments...
nadia73
i hate itmostly because i think it's over used, and usually blown at a good point in a track, therfore obscuring the real songi've only rarely heard it been used at a perfect moment nden1078
ecstasyrvr
tiesto pretty much killed the horn back in 02.
coachjames
Hate it, Hate it, Hate it. A real skilled DJ has no use for it. Last time Donald Glaude was at Crobar he had this awesome flow going and some idiot over-muscled whiteboy kept yanking on the horn. I tell you, I *almost* went over the bar at him. But I guess somebody finally pulled him away.

fostech
Why is Miami the only city with those stupid horns? You don't see them stupid horns in Barcelona, London, or Buenos Aires. They are cheesy, noisy, out of key. People should be more in tune with the music than with that noise that covers the details in many reocrds. Use a "white noise" instead to bring up the crowd or something, but not that truck-driver shit

philippio
Last time I was at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos, they didn't have one... but it's been 2 years.+Soda in Athens doesn't have one but I think Venue does. And a couple of clubs in Santorini too.

And if they're not over it yet, i'm sure its a cheesy club. It's just plain cheesy and low class. It's fine for la covacha and those types of joints, but don't expect a club to blast that noise and be a serious club. Music is "all" the noise you want to be listening to in my opinion.
