But for those who live in Vegas, $100 is about right. think about it, we stand to shell out about the same for Giants' event. I do however agree weyes, that the combination of hotel and event is just to much to bear.
watch your "we," sancib  ! i'm not going to giant's event. weyes has learned from experience that hanging out with friends at someone's place usually yields a better time than spending oodles of money she doesn't really have to spare on a party that'll just be too high-stress.

OOOOhhh but last years event was so great, I really have to applaud Giants' organization for such a large scale event. I went with 4 friends and I felt very low stress. Man O' Man..... Killers, Digweed, and Oaky:drool: I totally had a blast!!! I would go this year but the only one I really want to see is Digweed, he always kicks butt:rock: And anyways I thought you were treating for NYE with your new BIG $$$$ :)

I dunno, I think $100 for entry is a helluva bargain - considering most CLUBS in Vegas are charging more for door on NYE, and god knows how long they will keep you outside waiting. I'm sure a lot of you are gonna flame me, but screw it, I LOVE Tiesto, and I'm sure it's gonna be one heck of a good way to ring in the new year.

... and as for a hotel costing an arm and a leg for NYE.. WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO BE IN A HOTEL ROOM AT ALL THAT NIGHT?!?!?!? I know I will probably not even think about making it to my room until afternoon, so why even get a room for that night! hahaha

For those of you who will be there... SEE YA IN VEGAS BAYBEE!!!! ;D

my original calculations were a tad off; i'm not making as much more moolah at my new job as i thought i would be. don't get me wrong; every place pays more than my old job, and i can breathe working here. i still have a lot of debt to catch up on before i can really spend money on anything, though. i haven't gotten into that comfortable mode that all of my friends are in yet :hey: .

but expect to see me at wmc '07 :spin2: !!!

i just won a general admission ticket to see tiesto on new year's :jawdrop: !!!

that's fantastic and all, but it doesn't cover transportation or lodging, and it's only ONE ticket. who gives away tickets in increments of ONE? even if i could convince someone to drive out there with me, i dunno if i could convince anyone to pay for a ticket (or even split it in half, which i'd be willing to do) and even a cheap motel stay. my roommie/big tiesto fan is a hotel snob and only wants to stay in the best places or nowhere, in general. that's not a choice with the money we don't have at this time of year. but the ticket IS worth $100, and that's something to consider.

i don't know what to do :worry: ... i may end up having to blow this prize. i still haven't spoken to the roommie, though.

Hey Ms. Weyes... That is soo cool that you won something, even if you might not use it. If you dont go to vegas then lets start thinking of where to go here... And as for WMC I have a cousin in cape coral, florida and is itching to go, maybe we can all go together and share the costs!!! Anything is possible if you really want it.:)
