I think it was a pretty good success. Djs LOLA, KEITH BLACKSTONE, THE URBAN RELIEF PROJECT were playing some good stuff and the crowd was feeling it. Wally Lopez well i think was just on fire for the last hr. djquick83 Posted June 10 Report Share Posted June 10 Hands down, one of the best parties of 2006. Actually, it was THE Best party of 06 I have been to as of yet. Crowd was cool, music was awesome, and that motherfuckin WALLY LOPEZ. Where the fuck has he been all these years ? He dropped so many sick tracks throughout the nite and followed up each track with a harder one to keep the energy in the room up. So many sick remixes of old classic songs as well as a loop of the Dibiza vocal over some other track. That def. put him up there in one of my fav. performers on the decks. He was loving every minute up there and feeding off the crowd. As for the openers and closers, they did an excellent job. Def. was diggin LOLA's set but couldnt stay for Keith Blackstones set. Im sure he rocked it out til closing. PACHA is officially my fav big room in the city. Place wasnt too packed, but had enough ppl to actually have some kind of a vibe throughout the nite. I have been there twice so far and both times were awesome. I personally would take it over Crobar, given the past few times there have been fuckin horrible.
