And it's a 7 game series, not 3. So the NL didn't really have anything untill the game was over.And I don't think anybody will be making that excuse for the Yankees. I think most people will use the injuries as an excuse. Also, the NL is indeed inferior to the AL. But that doesn't matter because there will be years when the AL is inferior to the NL and the Yankees will be able to take advantage of that.
