urbanstylz14o
Crobar marketing director Jen Schiffer said her club, which was one of the venues where Miss USA Tara Conner reportedly partied before agreeing this week to go into rehab, was being unfairly singled out because of its size and popularity. It has a capacity of more than 3,000 people."I just wish they had told us when we opened, with a $20 million investment, that they were going to bust us this hard," Schiffer said. The club had beefed up security, added electronic ID scanners and taken other measures in an attempt to please the city, Schiffer said. fkornre
thats what happens when you allow underage drinking and drugs into your club (and get caught) on more than one occasion...eventually it will catch up to you...glad to see the city taking a stand on certain situations... seblg
But the way I see it that if you don't let people drink they'll just take drugs instead ... so i think it's pretty dumb not to let teh clubs serve alcohol?? Just my opinion.
bassboy
But the way I see it that if you don't let people drink they'll just take drugs instead ... so i think it's pretty dumb not to let teh clubs serve alcohol?? Just my opinion.Agreed. But a lot of this is political and very stupid. These licenses, which the city gets a nice chunk of cash for, have been awarded without question for years before this. I do think that clubs who have been denied are permitted to have BYOB, although that might be a little messy LOL.
