Guest galandriuspt2 Posted April 22 Report Share Posted April 22 hey i bought a p3 card from a friend the other day with a different type of box (sorry im new at this) and the access card expired on me...it turned out that all of them are expired including his and little by little all the channels are getting blacked out. until i get a loader with the new p4 myself i wanted to put back my original box in to watch tv again but all the channels are out syaing to call 722 which is because the box wasnt used for so long...as mentioned in your site..i checked the other boxes in my house and they work fine...now ima lil niervous in caling dtv cuz they might suspect something...so tell me, what should i do to get the box back to normal? and also do u know if any1 has the same problem with p3 card (football card) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest LeVeL Posted April 22 Report Share Posted April 22 P3 card is outdated and DirecTV is upgrading to P4 which means all those older card are not going to be able to receive the digital stream from DirecTV making it useless to get any of the PPV, PPPV Porn Channels, sporting event ect. If you are a paying customer for DirecTV then you would of received the P4 card for free in your mail from DirecTV before the upgrade went on effect 2 weeks ago. You would of been notified to call their Customer service for you can upload your programming to the new card that way you would never lose their stream why you were a paying customer.At the moment I heard from credible source that P4 programs are out but they are charging up $800 dollars to program for 2 years without DirecTV unloading your programming from your card.. Now I will get more in-depth info on this very soon. I think its ridiculous but if you think about it, its a risk now its up to you if its a risk worth taking. I believe its 50/50 because if it actually does last 2 years without being zapped then your getting your moneys but if it doesn't then your fucked. Basically the premise is if a broadcast falls into your yard, it's yours to do with what you wish, including decrypt. Obviously DTV and the others hate this. If you are getting black screens with audio on 3M fixes, and "expired card" messages with activations on the ppv channels, that is why. All the fixes are working, but the stream is being shut down.Do not panic. We are working on an alternative solution, either by dvb equipment or P4 fix. DVB works and is already for sale, as soon as we know more on the P4 we'll have that information as well.
