Most of the clubbing population wouldn't agree with you. There is a reason why Tiesto, Oakenfold, and Van Dyk make more money in one weekend than the average family makes all year. I can't "work" a room with 20 people in it nodding their heads and sipping watered down cocktails. I have a blast at the smaller parties, but nothing beats the experience of seeing (and capturing in my case) the sight of 5000 people going off surrounded by a few mil worth of sound and visual equipment.In other words, I manage to find entertainment value in either a set by PvD, or a set by Richie Hawtin. I'm out to capture the moment and have a good time...in other words, I'm not supremely picky. All that I ask for in a DJ is decent mixing/performance skills and originality in track selection. For conference at least, you'll see me at events featuring most of these DJs. Exceptions being Rauhofer and Junior . I'll leave that to the boys!
