Short Guys( I mean height)

I met this guy who is so adorable, great personality, really hot, but he is only about 5'6 and I am 5'3. I feel so akward if I wear my heels, which usually add about 2-3 inches to my height, around him. Is anyone else really bothered by people's height. I know it is so superficial and I hate admitting it but I can't help it.

I hear you. I never really ran into this problem (I'm 5'10") but I wouldn't want a girl to be taller than me either. I just wouldn't feel comfortable. I usually go for girls who are shorter than me, but that doesn't necessarily mean I won't date a taller girl.

...if she's taller than me....cool...I'll just climb her like a tree....

....if I'm taller...she can climb me.... cwm32.gif

You're got to ask yourself the question:

Is it that you're unconfortable in heels around him, or is it that you're not that physically attracted to him?

I've found that while most of you ladies aren't that superficial, height is the #1 consideration when it comes down to the physical side of things. Nothing's wrong with that, but if it is, be true to yourself about it...

Awwww man, that sucks. I'm 5'8" and I really likes guys to be taller than I am. I prefer guys to be atleast 5'11 so that way, they're still taller than I when I'm wearing boots or shoes with high heals. Otherwise, I feel so uncomfortable.

Well, I'm 5"3 and for some reason I've only liked guys just at my height.

At first when I was younger it irked me that when I wore heels I'd be slightly taller then the guy, but for some reason now it doesn't.

I like to be eye to eye, and there's no standing on tip-toe to kiss him! cwm32.gif

the tallest girl that I dated had 1/2 inch on me. She was just over 5'10''. Did I care that she's a tiny bit taller than me? Not at all. She'd make up for it with beatiful legs and a great body (aside from personality of course).

Wow, I'm 20 inches taller than you. So you wouldn't even have to be on your knees to... oh, never mind.

Dayyyy-ummm... now that's tall!

At 4'10" this is hardly an issue for me. Even in my highest platforms, anyone over 5'2" is taller than me.

However, my freshman year I did get hit on by some frat guy that was shorter than me. That's truly something I never expected to happen.

Still, after spending 3 1/2 years w/a boy who was nearly 6'5"- most people really don't look that tall to me anymore.

Naw.. most height is in the legs..

If she's the same height, I'd have to look up to her when she slips on the 4" heels. Thanks, but I'll stick to submission in bed (or on the kitchen counter, whatever)..

Are you saying that you might not try to work it out with this guy who is cool because he doesn't look good next to you when you wear a pair of heels? That sounds pretty stupid to me. I guess you must really like your shoes.

I used to date a girl that wore big ol' heels. We ended up being about the same height. But, sometimes she looked pretty stupid clodding around in those big heels that were hard to walk in. so, if you're gonna wear those heels, you better be able to pull them off because the eyes are going to be on you, not on Mr. 5'6.
