I stared at him for a few seconds, he finally turned around and got this surprised look on his face, as though he hadn't seen me the first time. It was pretty funny. I didn't really want to talk to him, but I didn't want to totally let him off the hook either. He was all sugary-sweet "oh my god, I forgot you're from NY" blah blah blah.
