schwingep Posted September 20 Report Share Posted September 20 Twirl is thinking about having an open turntables, FREE admission(Yes, no cover) party next Friday the 29th.There are 6 available DJ slots, all House, Tech,and Trance DJ's are welcome. You just have to show up early to sign up for a slot. They just want to throw a fun party for no reason whatsoever excpet for people to hang out and have a good time, and let a bunch of DJ's and people do what they want.They aren't promoting this event, it will only be by word of mouth. I was asked to see if there would be an interest in this. If there is an interest they're going to do it, but if there isn't, well ya know.I think it would be cool for a pre-meet to the afterhours like Twilo, we all know who's there that night, we can kinda make it our own place for the night. And maybe a bunch of DJ's from the board could get together and do some spinning. You can't see anything, and no one can see you. You can't hear the system (only your monitors). No one can dance, and no one really cares what's being played.At least I got payed So yeah! Perhaps calling it sucky is just how it reflects on my personal taste.
