schwingep
B2BI have to go with Mussorgsky/Ravel Pictures at an Exhibition.I first heard it in 4th grade at Lincoln Center, it blew me away, I just had my eyes shut the whole time absorbing it, all the kids were like haha you fell asleep, I'm like no I loved that piece. In 4th grade it's hard for kids to believe you like Classical music.I'm actually a classically trained clarinetist...who knew?Oh and Mozart's Jupiter Symphony, and Stravinsky's Firebird suite, and Bernstein Sym. 1Well that's it for my classical pieces.- Pete------------------------------------------

Guest crystalmethodny
Hey PeteI remember 'Firebird' that was a really great piece. Playing it was somewhat challenging.Like I said, I still love 'Water Music'.You know what Dixieland song I love? "Oh when the Saints... go marching in, oh when the Saints go marching in. I want to be in that number, oh when the Saints go marching in. Oh when the sun, refuse to shine. Oh when the sun refuse to shine..."You get the point. Playing it Dixieland style with improvisinational trumpet was fun!...------------------"We're going to build things up slowly... are you with me? Here we go."[This message has been edited by crystalmethodny (edited 09-21-2000).]
