I'd have to disagree. I finished grad school this past May, and although it gave me a few gray hairs, it also helped strengthen my mind. Knowledge is power, always.

I started my master's in speech pathology but it was so rough trying to make ends meet, work, study.....i'm not very disciplined at all!! Needless to say, I found myself this cushy little job and I can't face the thought of going back to school. I def. want to finish one day, but there are only four schools in Jersey that offer the program and you have to make yourself available during the day at all four. I don't want to be without health ins. and struggling again!! At least not right now!!

I'm definately going to grad school in 2 years, and I'd recommend for you strongly to think of it.In 20-30 years, the only good jobs will be available ONLY with a Master's degree...I don't remember who told me this, but it's going to happen...so might as well be prepared.Ciao.

i have no doubt in my mind that i will pursue an MBA and my PhD in the very near future. i am hoping that my company will pay for me to attend, of course.

for those interested in going to business school, it is highly recommended you have at least 2-4 years of experience before you even apply.. so keep that in mind. smile.gif

everyone, good luck with your endeavors in the academic world.

depends what your looking for

if you can get into stern(nyu) or columbia then you'll really be set. Average starting salaries for graduates of stern is a little above 100k, not sure of columbia off hand, think its around 90k though
