Can you blame the cops that are on the lookout for young minorities flaunting money or standing on street corners? Can you blame the bouncers for going after a group (ravers, not asians) that is notorious for their association with drugs? Exit just got raided a couple of weeks ago, prior to that they werent searching for shit. We all (those who do the stuff) have been caught at least once before (unless you one of those "no you hold it" people) But you have to understand they DID NOT discriminate against you they picked you out cause they thought you have shit on you like alot of the asians in there do.AND by the way the asians in there are very RUDE people. Many of the replies that you didnt like...were trying to point out that it is indeed YOUR FAULT that you got caught with drugs and that is completely independant of whether or not you are asian, a raver, or an asian raver.2) I dont think anyone who called you "stupid" was actaully challenging your intelligence on an everyday basis...as much as they were calling you stupid for the manner in which you tried to sneak drugs into Exit. I can only speak for myself here...I have been in the scene for well over 5 years...in all aspects...promoter, patron etc...and I NEVER GOT CAUGHT...nor am I your so-called "once a week clubber"... However, someone who only goes once a week should be more susceptible to getting caught...as they dont know the drill like SUCH EXPERIENCED people like yourself ...obviously you dont have the club thing locked down like you think...or you would have known better.3) You should stay true to yourself...but there is defintely more than 2 ways to dress (raver or hoochie are not the only ones)...If you insist upon dressing in rave gear... but the places you want to go are not feeling that kind of style...than either you should be searching for a different venue or dress in a manner that the club sets forth. Clubs do have dress codes and they dont have to explain why or to whom they apply. There are many restuarants that require jackets on men...and the clientel either abides or doesnt go...the same is for clubs that administer such restictions. It is unfortunate if you got peaced the fuck out because you were Asian...but it is totally cool if you got tossed because you got caught with drugs. I am not Asian or a raver, but I am a retard and put them in the 1st place they check.....the BRA!I was all pissed off about the whole thing b/c it made my night really shitty. The pills weren't mine, they were a friends, and I got THEIR drugs taken. SO I was sitting at home thinking about how pissed off I was, and HOW COULD THEY DO THAT. But then I thought, Holy shit, I could've been screwed a whole lot more than I could've. Be thankful that it happened to you at Exit and not by some police officer on the streets b/c then you WOULD be in jail. I think it's fucked up that they singled you out but you were taking illegal substances into the place when ya think about it.
