Yeah and they were great. Ralphie really tore it up that night too. So fun. Maybe better than Oaky, but I thought he was good that night too in retrospect. I HAD A GREAT, EPIC TIME that night.

Joey Negro was in town last week (at Centro-Fly, I think, or maybe at Love Bazaar?). Haven't heard from anyone who was at the show.

When in the hell is someone going to bring MARQUES WYATT out to NYC? This guy is blowing up, he's got a new dj mix CD on Om Records, and a big story in DJ Times magazine. Never seen him spin live, but his CD is fantastic.

B2B...too bad you are in Chi-town...

It seems that VERY FEW people from this board have DIVERSE MUSCIAL INTERESTS...or, at least want to do anything other than listen to pounding Trance and House every weekend.

If Thievery of Filla played here, I wonder if even 1 CNYC person woudl go with me...

Notable exceptions (that I know of so far) Schwingep, sdm1976, Jilly, pulsedriver, carabee, mrnice, notforkids...

If I left you out, please reveal yourselves!

Thievery Corporati did play here in October I think. It was a damn good show. I went to school in DC and used to see them all the time at this place called 18th Street Lounge. You should check them out, they are quite good in person.

I hear ya Kimmy

It was so fustrating to hear Hybrid on a crappy sound system.

I'd also rather hear them playing live instead of a dj set, since they bring out the drum kit and keyboards.

I heard them open for Moby...they are AMAZING playing live. Just a DJ set doesn't do them justice...

Otherwise, I can't wait to hear Sander Kleinenberg in March...

I go places, I interact...

(What places?)

Certain, clubs. Like, Paradise. It's not bad.

It's just that feeling when you can take your shirt off and really dance. When the music owns you. Do you understand?

I was at that also, and it was amazing. The Roxy is actually one of the best but most underrated places in the city to hear good sets.
