My answer is definietly home in Sydney, Australia. This place is the best club in the world. It is absolutely amazing, a treat for every sense. First of all, it is located right on the harbor so you have the water right outside. Inside, everything is aesthetically pleasing....marble floor around the bar, velvet curtains on the walls, plush chairs in the chillout area, nice wooded dancefloor. Everything is clean and the architecture is abstract and beautiful. The club is three floors and pretty much one big circle with a hollowed out 2nd and 3rd floor above the dancefloor so people can look down. Bathrooms are even beautiful. Men room has a waterfall instead of urinals that has TV screens behind it showing the DJ booth and other stuff. Hand massages after you wash your hands. They have a multimedia center that is musically themed which is fun to play if you are rolling. Music is amazing and the crowd is first rate. two other rooms playing different kinds of music. If you ever have the chance to go...GO! This club is the bomb. They were supposed to open one in new York. Haven't heard anything recently.

Ok, Mr. UK, what makes you think that you know what clubs are good or not. U come here and ask what is good.

And then you get all better than us. So stay in Manhattan and go to World and Exit.

I still think that Hunka Bunka will be better off without people like you that don't know good music.

My summer home is ready in 3 months...Look out Tempts!

Jerzee KID read the question I asked What is the best club in the world ever and why.

Can you tell me where I can see a tribute internet site to "Hunka Bunka"? Can you show me any magazine articles saying how hunka bunka is the best in the world? Any pictures of people banging there heads against the wall because the music is so good. So it compares the likes of PAradise garage? Hacienda(in Manchester,uk,)? Hard Times? The Sound Factory Bar?

Just for your info I have been clubbing in every continent on this planet starting before you were an itch in your daddies pants. KID.

Ok there, Mr. Encyclopedia Brown...you got me. Thanks for letting me know how great you are.

Happy to see that you already know which club is the best, but you are so sure that you need to ask the New York board where to go.

Next time you get this kind of itch in your pants, get a box of tissues.

The Sound factory Bar now called Cheetah was where Little louie vega, possible one of the greatest DJ's ever and definately one of biggest contributors to the House movement since the begin used to DJ. Kid.

Listen. I do not really want a slanging match with a kid as they don't listen to what you tell them. Do they? so Let's just chill a minute. When you reach 28, will you be an old man? Or will you have been clubbing for a number of years?

We are all here to educate each other about clubbing and obviously I have taught you something you didn't know (SFB not SF).

Yes we can Hang as long as your over 21.

When did I ask the New York Board where to go? read the question again.

Besides Twilo, which I think is the best in NYC....I think Atlantis down in Ft. Lauderdale. Two floors, a pool outside with beach chairs, 4 bars, a deck with swings that looks out to the beach which is about 50 feet away, massage girls cwm12.gif , and the inside is decorated like a tropical paradise. Has anyone else been there?

well in the us, no doubt about it, twilo is. i also think that twilo is one of the best in the world. i mean come on, its not some huge ass place with waterfalls in the bathrooms, or people dropping cash from the ceiling in order to attract people there. twilo is a club for music lovers. yeah you get idiots in there from time to time that think theyre cool (pvd nights). theyll come in, take their shirts off and pretend they can dance. but come on now guys, get real. also look at the lineup twilo has week in and week out. they have soooo many djs there now, that they have to fill up sat nights b4 jr comes on. dave seaman, nick warren, steve lawler, sven vath, mauro picotto, seb fontaine, anthony pappa. i dont even have to mention the two boys at the end of the month, theyre a given as well as the man from germany himself...please if anyone can say that twilo is not within the top 5 clubs in the world, ill have to laugh in your face... everyone is entitled to their own opinion but come on man, hunka bunka???

when do you go there teen nights? lol...please, try gettin out of nj once in a while and come to the city to some actually somewhat decent clubs. i mean i would go to the crack factory b4 i went to a nj club.peas.

Hey, guys....lets please get back to the topic?

I'm really curious to hear what you all think.

Tempkid, calm down. You throw a fit at the drop of a hat. That guy knew what he was talking about, and its VERY clear he's been clubbing a long time. You might learn something from him so lets stop the slinging?

So...what were we talking about? Oh yeah, clubbing...

I haven't clubbed at all outside of SF or NYC. Where are some of the "must see" places?

Well, I haven't been to clubs in other countries - so my 3 favorite clubs in the world are right here in NY.

1st and foremost is the Original Sound Factory "Often Immitated - Never Duplicated!" By far the best club that ever existed. The vibe in there is incomparable to anything that we have had to experience since it's closing. When you were there - you felt so incredible - the crowd was PLEASANT!! It was like a HUGE family - attitudes and Drama were checked at the door. It was EXTREMELY hard to get into if you weren't gay, and many times I witnessed A-List people just being blatantly denied access. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THAT!! The shows, and events that went on there made it feel like a theatrical performance at all times. I think back and WISH I could relive those days!! Anyway, Junior was just AMAZING - and when it closed it began the downturn of the underground scene as we knew it! For those who know what I am talking about - do any of you remember Nadine?? She was the old lesbian lady who would take the bus from uptown every Saturdsay, and dance her ass off - all the while partying like a rock star!! She had to be in her 60's!! Then there was the priest, the rabbi, the naked hemaphrodite, Kevin Aviance's Shows that were just incredible, the night one bouncer rode his harley through the club up onto the stage.. I could go on and on - and then there was the road show parties at Roseland - the third one the night before PRIDE was the best!

2nd - Club USA!!! Just the whole environment - you felt like you were in an amusement park!! The slide, the booths, the mazes to find the bathrooms, the Muglier (sp?) room, the rooftop deck - UGH!!! Saturday night with Hex was great, and the Sunday night BUMP parties were FANTASTIC!!! The 3 day party when it closed was just OFF THE HOOK!!! For those of you who were there - you know what I am talking about!

3rd - TUNNEL from 1993 - 1996 (when Junior left.) Another playground for the children of the night. The Green Room, Junior's VP Back Room, the Kenny Scharf Room, the BATHROOMS!!!! Could you get any more of changing environment's in one place - I don't think so.

I guess that is all - hope this brings back some memories for some, and for those who weren't there - wish you could have experienced it! cwm35.gifcwm35.gif

Um MORON - before you start spewing stuff out of your cake hole, you should make sure you know WTF you are talking about. SF never changed it's name to Sound Factory Bar - THEY ARE 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLACES!! When Phil Smith had a fall out with the owners of Sound Factory back in the early 90's, he opened Sound Factory Bar which is now Cheetah. When SF closed, a few months later SFB closed because Phil Smith leased the old SF space, and he opened Twilo. Hence the scene as we know it today You are the one who is *acting there age* by displaying to all of us here that you know NOTHING of NYC club history. So do yourself a favor, just keep posting to what you know - Tempts, Abyss, Bunka, whatever. Not that those aren't good places to go - they just don't belong on this post!! Now beat it squirt - you are annoying me! cwm23.gif
