gravity
Twilo? ------------------"The world is a better place because of those who refuse to believe they can't fly." I go places, I interact...(What places?)Certain, clubs. Like, Paradise. It's not bad. It's just that feeling when you can take your shirt off and really dance. When the music owns you. Do you understand?
furnace
Twilo is cool for a couple reasons.1) They get the best DJ's from around the world2) They have the best sound system from around the worldEven though it's my favorite club, I must admit it's not perfect either.Twilo is NOT COOL because1) Sometimes the bouncers can be the meanest and rudest around2) They have been known to pick on Asians www.twilo.com Twilo is on 27th St. between 10th and 11th AvenuesEntrance is normally $25.When big acts like Paul Van Dyk, Sasha and Digweed come, it's $35.Drinks are $7Water is $5Next Twilo date: Danny Howells Sat. March 17th!!!------------------
ooana
For more info, also check out www.twilo.com There is a message board there as well.Twilo is incredibly popular right now, and imho a great club because of what kind of DJs they are bringing in (for example, Carl Cox, Danny Howells, Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Sasha and Digweed, Junior Vasquez etc..etc..)and have residencys there.Admission on a normal night is $25, $20 if you're on a list. Price goes up for "special events."There's no dress code to get in. The overall attitude/priority there is to dance, enjoy the music and enjoy the vibe. For more info check out the twilo.com messageboard :-)-Oo------------------ "When the soul wishes to experience something, she throws an image of the experience out before her, and enters into her own image." -Eckhart"I heard of a man that says words so beautiful that if he only speaks their name, women give themselves to him.If I am dumb by your body while silence blossoms like tumors on our lips it is because I hear a man climb the stairs and clear his throat outside our door." - Leonard Cohen
back2basics-
The thing that makes it better than most nights is LONG sets and it's open forever.8 hour sets are the norm, thats why most DJ's love the place it gives them a more intemate relationship with the crowd.ALL clubs should do it.------------------I want to go out blazing..not fade away.Trust in the currency of relationships, it's hard to earn but easy to loose - back2basics

blueangel
Actually, the cover charge can be as high as $45 for special nights like S&D Anniversary. markyhatter
Thanks for the info! Strabge to hear they pick on Asians, but it does sound a god club. $45 for special occasions is a bit steep but then NYE in the UK loads of clubs charge betwen £50-100 for a ticket so we can't complain.
