I got into electronica through trance (the huge epic guys - tiesto, oakenfold, PvD, etc) but lately it's been seeming kind of flat and predictable. (yeah yeah yeah...I know...insert disparaging comment about trance here). Anyway. I heard Carl Cox at Area 1 and fell in love, and I'm starting to get into house, sort of (I like Danny Howells, and I'm listening to some guy on ministryofsound.com right now who's pretty cool...). nycmuzik Posted August 2 Report Share Posted August 2 I'm in the same boat. Saw Carl Cox for the first time at the Area:1 festival in Jersey and I was hooked. I started out listening to guys like Tiesto and Vicious but lately I've been getting into alot of tech-house/trance and tribal.
