back2basics- Posted August 22 Report Share Posted August 22 One of Brents freinds sent this email to Richie Hawtin and here's the response he got.. shows RH is a bloody nice guy.As you can perhaps tell from my e-mail address I live and work in Germany -although I am from the UK!! Anyway, I had planned my summer holidays thisyear to go an d meet some friends in New York, principally to see Richieplay at the Creamfields event - what could be better we thought - neverbeento New York and as I have seen Richie in some bizzarre places in Europe,this would add nicely to my list.So what do the buggers go and do? Cancel the show at the last minute. Ihave already paid for the flight and hotel and we were all ready. This hasput something of a downer on things so I wanted to ask if there is anychance that a new date will be arranged for the same date - somewhere inNewYork?? This would be great and if it happens please could you e-mail mesome details to this address.Sorry, nothing else is being planned for that weekend in the New Yorkarea... on the Friday I will be in Montreal, and the Sunday I will be atone of my own events in Detroit.RichOK thanks Richie.
