upjumpdaboogie
They're all magnificant if you have an imagination and are sensuous, sensual and sensitive. But I think smell [as great as it is] would be the one with the most cons. Face it people, there are a lot of heinous smells out there. It's also more difficult to recall a smell, I think if you re-smell a scent, if can conjure a memory, but the smell it self is hard to recapture. ::shrug::

Maybe it's because it's the most elusive of senses, and perhaps the most underused. The olfactory nerves become desensitized easily, that's why you stop smelling things a few minutes after you're first exposed to them. But when a scent brings back a memory it can be so strong. You might smell a cologne or perfume from someone passing on the street and it immediately makes you think of an old lover who wore it. Or the smell of leaves on the ground. I went to school in the south so I missed autumn for four years. When I came back to NY I couldn't believe how familiar the smell of fallen leaves was, something I'd never even noticed before, and it made me so happy to be back here. Now, when it comes to a person's scent... I can't get enough of it! There's that fresh from the shower smell, the I've been dancing all night smell, don't forget my favorite, the sweaty sex smell. When you know someone well enough to know how they smell, you know that person pretty damn intimately.
upjumpdaboogie
I totally agree, that's why I tried to validate it so much.If I couldn't smell fresh baked break, or spring bloom of flowers, or a certain perfume, I won't mention.. I'd gauge my my eyes out with a dull spoon. Luckily, we don't have to choose. It's the lesser of five evils, so to speak...
