shugabooga
merlot would go great with stroganoff or whatever wine you like but i think red would be better than white.all ya gotta do to cook it (i don't really measure or follow the recipe to a "T") is something like this:'- boil about half a bag of egg noodles - start this part first!- take 16 oz beef tenderloin trimmed of fat & cut into bite size chunks and saute in olive oil on medium for about 3-4 minutes, turning to cook through- remove from skillet, put in casserole dish or whatever ya got- add a little more olive oil to skillet- throw in your chopped shallots (if you don't have the patience to chop up the tiny shallots just use a regular onion)- toss in your chopped up portabellos- add the artichoke hearts (drain them first)- add about 1/2 cup white cooking wine, sherry or regular wine, whatever you have on hand- let the veggies simmer in the sauce on low for five minutes or so, however long you need to go smoke a ciggie or put the clothes in the dryer- add a pint of sour cream, heat through- add what ya got in the skillet to the beef in the casserole dish, drain your noodles and toss it all together.tip: make extra because it's great warmed up for lunch!
