At 3 X-mas parties 've been invited to, I will be going alone, and there will be lots of couples there. I really don't feel like listening to everyone ask where my man of the hour is.Even though I was with someone for almost 4 years....I have never really gotten into the holiday mode with any guy in particular. I wonder how nice it would be to just sit by the X-mas tree, with all these opened presents, admiring you're one favorite gift of all time..........someone who truly loves you, and who you truly love. Like you, there's an untimely tragedy that I am reminded of at Christmas time....but in my eyes, up in Heaven there is an angel smiling down on me, guiding me through life. Somehow when I think of that, there's always a smile on my face.I think most everyone is going through some hard times this year. And along with that I think many lessons have been learned on what is most important, family and loved ones. Money and material things just seem less signifigant than ever before (to me anyway). What my comment really meant was, through all of this mess, sharing the holidays with someone would be an endearing reminder of the what the meaning of Christmas is really about.
