Saturday the 19th Touchedbyadj.com presents SHIPWRECKED... Three seperate sound systems - 10,000 square ft inclosed heated pier(chelsea piers-pier 63) and an antique coast guard cutter ship(The Frying Pan) with an amazing lineup!!! They have an amazing light show that will blow your mind(EFX lighting Pittsburgh PA) and a sound system thats unreal!!! Headlining the pier is Luis Diaz resident DJ at TWILO with Paul Van Dyk, along side with resident Touched By a DJ DJ's!!! Progressive House and Trance on the Pier, Techno in the main dancefloor of the boat, and Techand Tribal House in the ships VIP room!!! ". . now, we know that Twilo did indeed have parties WITH PVD headlining. . . but he never mentions that Paul Van Dyk will be SPINNING . . . . . Very Crafty . . I dunno, I wouldn't have much fun. 1 hour is like, 5 or 6 records.I'd rather go hear Marcus and Dominique tear it up on 4 dex at Centro, where they can play for 4 hours on residents night.Or Halo and Hippe play at Centro or Vinyl for 4 or 6 hours.Or Felix da Housecat do it proper at Centro for 4 hours.That way, these dj's can have time to put together a set, not just throw on a few anthems. Just my preference, I guess. I'm interested in knowing what is good about events like these...2) On the other topic, Luis Diaz really did open up for PVD at Twilo almost every time PVD spun there. Luis is a very very good DJ, I have seen him play aside from Twilo, and he definitely bangs it out.As for the way the promoter wrote it, I dunno...you have a point...
