Tearing of my bread..

Recommended Posts

While in the process of constructing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for my own personal pleasure the following bothers me..

The DAMN peanut butter tears my friggin bread! Anyone got any solution to this problem? I recently switched to white bread from wheat.

maaan, give up on white bread - it's not very nutricious,

and i've as of yet not found a solution to this problem either.

use RYE TOAST.

and with more jelly and less peanut butter

it makes for a wholesome and still quite

juicy/tasty sammich.

Ahh yes, Potato bread is the shit! This is my first time using white bread, i'm not a fan of rye. I'll go pick up a loaf next time I go shopping. Expect a full report, some pics and maybe even a video.

BTW - What is Nutella?

nutella is an italian chocolate hazelnut spread (you should find it in your local supermarket, possibly in italian delis)

its the reason why sliced bread was invented

something to spread this wonderful stuff on

nonono the whole reason this thread was started was the tearing of the bread because of the thickness/gooeyness of the PB being spread across it, not cutting it once it was done.

You can't toast the bread when making PB&J. It just isn't right. BTW - refridgerating the bread does help a little bit. I think the ultimate solution to this problem is creamy peanut butter. :D
