brickhouse Posted March 19 Report Share Posted March 19 While I can understand how having friends around can help enhance the experience, if you're going to see a DJ you really love, if you know you like the venue, and if you know you're gonna be shaking your ass for 10 hours straight anyway, then why not go it alone? I mean, there's already a huge crowd there, and it's Vinyl isn't one of those environments where everyone's really cliquey. First thing I learned when I moved to New York was how to enjoy good music and good times without having anyone there or even trying to meet people....then you can REALLY get into the music. Lord knows I've been to enough 2-step shows by myself...at least at an event like DD you would have been bound to run into SOMEBODY...BTW, wassup Karl, good mornin...
