  1. NEW YORK (AP) - Demonstrating a deep understanding of what its computer-gaming audience, Sony has built the ability to order pizza into its latest online multiplayer game.

Type the command "/pizza'' while playing Everquest II, a fantasy game with 330,000 active players, and get the Pizza Hut Web site, where you can place orders for delivery.

Chris Kramer, spokesman for Sony Online Entertainment, said he believes this is the first time a game accepts orders for real-world items.

Sony plans to integrate the pizza function more tightly into the game, so players can charge pizza to their monthly game subscription bill.

"The goal for the future is to eventually let people do more things like this,'' Kramer said. "They could type /harry potter and get the new Harry Potter book delivered or /star wars and get the new Star Wars DVD.''

Many games incorporate ads and product placements, but such opportunities are limited with fantasy games like Everquest.

Though the new pizza feature might satisfy appetites, caution is required as the game doesn't pause while you're ordering.

"You wouldn't want to order pizza in the thick of combat, but anywhere that's safe is a good place,'' said Kramer.

  2. It is an okay place. It has its place in Sobe but not worth the trouble. I had a few really fun nights there, but I also have the privilage of getting thrown out of there also . :o

The door guys let me in for a private party that I was photographing for a promoter but it turns out the manager didn't approve it and we got into it and I told him off, and told him where he could stiick his high priced bottles and $15 drinks

  3. I posted both pictures of Johnny Ramirez's and his " say no to Hip Hop" shirt on a local board here in Ohio , and it has started a heated discussion, I said I need a shirt like that. I am making enemies quickly

I might not be able to go out here anymore. :o

  4. I don't get excited really excited after seeing so many DJ's and hearing so many sets over the years, But....

on Friday I had the chance to se Terrence Parker for the first time and he took me a on a journey of music that was rare. I am not a trackspotter but it was a great set of House and Techno with many other sub genres thrown in. He had everyone till 3: 30am, which is late for here.

If you get a chance to see him , dont miss out.

Terrence Parker has established himself as a producer, remixer and DJ of the classic sound of House Music instead to Techno. As of January 2002, Terrence Parker has performed as a DJ in more than 100 cities throughout the world. He currently holds several resident DJ positions in several clubs including Dockland Club in Muenster Germany, System Sound Bar in Toronto Canada, Club Spiral in Lansing Michigan, and Rotation in Iowa City Iowa. Since 1988, he has released more than 100 recordings, and had top 20 hits in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Also, here why he is known and the "Telephone Man"

Parker also stands out in the DJ booth for his use of a telephone receiver as a headphone, an idea borrowed from an earlier generation of DJs. The telephone is in some ways his mascot, but it serves a practical purpose as well.

"I used to use traditional headphones, but because I get very animated when I spin, I used to go through them too quickly. I don't think I ever had a pair of regular headphones that lasted more than six months. The telephone is so durable -- the one I have now I've had for close to 14 years. I haven't met a DJ yet who's had a pair of headphones as long as I've had my phone. It's also a lot louder than normal headphones. Usually, the DJ before me will have the headphone gain cranked, and when I come on I'll turn it right down. You just have to be careful not to hurt your ears with it."

  6. Believe it or not, MapQuest, Yahoo, and google all get there data from the same place, but it is how they use it , is each unique formula.

Google is at the top of the line when it comes to hiring the best.

My friend is considered to be about genius when it comes to coding and programming, and in his interview process for Google, it was 5 weeks long , 3 different cities, and 2 tests, with counltess number of meetings. Good thing is he got the job, and has been working for Google since last year in Atlanta.
