I just started using Ameritrade this week and it rocks.
beats the hell out of paying high commision trades and haveing a broker recommend the brokerage houses personal products.
If you have timne to do some research yourself, it is worth it.

Yeah we have all dealt with them before.
The blonde at Crobar has her moods, so I have hit her on good night and bad nights and one night she knows who Ia m and thext weekend its liek she has never seen me.
As for the Opium French door guys, well I just learned to not deal with them and use the Prive entrance or get in contact with with someone via cell phone that is promoting or DJ'ing the event and have them come out and bring me in themselves.
Shore Club used to be a problem along with Mynt the few times I went, then i leanred not to go there at all
I do have the dubious distinction of getting thrown out of Mynt

I will be down in Miami for six days for the Conference. That should give me enough time to really guage whether or not I could call Maimi home. Thanks a lot for the feedback from everyone. Please keep it coming.
WMC is not a true representation of how livingin Sobe or Miami is. I used to live in Ft Lauderdale, buyt moved back to Ohio for now. If i ever moved back i would move to Ft Lauderdale again, since Miami traffic sucks and I don't speak spanish. Honeslty if you do not speak a differenct language any job in marketing and hotel stuff might be a problem.
I just got tired of dealing with cheap business owners that are running fly by night companies with no career stability. Plus I wanted to buy house and real estate prices are inflated in SOuth Florida.
Its a great place for vacation or a sedond home, but a place for me to live full time

Student Says He Can't Afford To Defend Apple Lawsuit
Friday January 14, 1:20 PM EST
BOSTON (AP)--A 19-year-old Harvard student being sued by Apple Computer Inc. ( AAPL) over a claim that his online publication revealed Apple's trade secrets said Friday he can't afford a lawyer to defend himself.
But Nicholas M. Ciarelli said he hopes to find free or low-cost legal help to argue that he deserves First Amendment protection and used proper newsgathering techniques to break news about the new $499 Mac mini computer and other inside information about Apple.
"A lot of lawyers are interested in my case, but few are able to do it for free or low cost," Ciarelli said in an e-mail interview. "I'm seeking representation."
Ciarelli, who described himself as "an enthusiastic fan of Apple's products since an early age," uses the pen name "Nick dePlume" as editor and publisher of www.thinksecret.com, which differs from so-called "blogs" in that it accepts advertising. He started the Web site at age 13 in 1998. Stories about developments at Apple have made the site popular with enthusiasts of the company's products as well as industry analysts and reporters.
An article posted Dec. 28 revealed details of an inexpensive, bare-bones Mac mini computer that would be priced at $499.
The article, which cited "highly reliable sources," led to industry rumors that preceded Apple's launch of the product Tuesday at Apple's MacWorld conference.
Another Think Secret story on Jan. 6 predicted Apple's rollout at this week's show of a $99 iPod music player.
Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple on Jan. 4 sued in Superior Court in San Jose County, naming as defendants Think Secret and unnamed sources who tipped off the online publication about the Mac mini launch.
Apple said in a statement that it believes Think Secret "solicited information about unreleased Apple products from these individuals, who violated their confidentiality agreements with Apple by providing details that were later posted on the Internet."
Ciarelli's identity as the site's editor and publisher was not revealed until Wednesday, when The Harvard Crimson, the student newspaper, published the information.
Ciarelli said Think Secret's reporting "helps to generate interest in Apple and its products."
He said he's "confident that Think Secret's reporting is consistent with the rights protected by the First Amendment. I haven't used any improper newsgathering techniques.
"Neither the dePlume organization nor I can afford to defend a suit against Apple, and have few connections in California," he said.

Urban Warefare
more pictures of it

The Marines will take over parts of downtown Toledo as sounds of gunfire will
echo off buildings when training exercises are conducted next weekend.
A Marine Corps unit based in Perrysburg will stage the exercises from 9 p.m.
Jan. 7 to about noon Jan. 9, Maj. Gregory Cramer said.
Major Cramer said most of the 130-member unit - Weapons Company, 1st
Battalion, 24th Marines - will take part in the exercises.
"We're looking for an urban environment to do our training," he said. "Urban
training is one of the proficiencies we're required to maintain."
Major Cramer said Marines will be dressed in green and will be carrying rifles
through the streets, but the exercises should have a minimal impact on the
downtown area. He said the Marines will be firing blanks and conducting
operations throughout the area.
"The only request we would have of folks, if they happen to be near where an
exercise is taking place, is to stay away as much as possible," Major Cramer
said.
The exercise area roughly will be north of Monroe Street, west of the Maumee
River, south and west of Cherry Street, south of Woodruff Ave., and east of
Collingwood Boulevard.
Toledo Police Chief Mike Navarre said military exercises have been conducted
before in the downtown area with a minimal impact on city residents. He said
city and police officials have been working with the Marines to help the
exercises go smoothly.
"Training is extremely important, not just in our profession, but in the military
too," Chief Navarre said. "We're not going to place any obstacles in their way."
Jean Atkin, administrator for the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, said the
unit was granted permission to use the courthouse grounds. The unit, though,
won't use the interior of the courthouse.
"We used to do this when we were kids - you know, running around the woods,"
Ms. Atkin said. "They're just going to use the downtown."

and you move to Miami to get ahead in techno genre? It has been a tough road traveled by DJ's/ producers of techno locally. THey usually get better respect when they travel , than playing locally.
