  1. I have lived in 3 different states in the last 4 years have had 4 jobs and a crap load of aquantinces that I have either worked or partied with.

Not to put a damper on the original question, but...

I guess a question I have pondered before, since I had a serious illness a few years back.

If you were to die today. How big would your funeral be? being that a lot of us have friends in many states and other countries, what is realisitic. Would your friends in other cities even know, that something tragic happened to you? It might take a few days or a week till everyone finds out.

  2. I actullay went to Club Boca back in in 1998 when I visited my relatives in Del Ray.

    Spin

Went there when I first moved to Florida, then it changed names like 4 times in the next year.

  3. "IT'S TIME FOR THE PERCULATOR".... HAD TO BE 1993....

earlier... more like 91 or 92

In 1992, after surviving on cheese sandwiches and maximizing credit limits, Cajmere finally made an imprint on the dance community with his infectious experiment, "Coffee Pot" (It's Time for the Percolator) – Clubhouse Records. Then he moved on to more complex musical and lyrical arrangements with songs like Lidell Townsell's "Get With U" (Mercury Records).

  4. I was a kid who always had mixed tapes of breaks and stuff back in the mid 80's, of White Lines, RUN DMC, etc. Then it progressed when I was ealry teenager I used to go to a teen club every Summer and dance my ass off. It was the typical pop/ rap stuff with other songs thrown im, but the 2 songs that stick out to and I still love to this day are Depecge Mode- Personal Jesus, and Midnight Oil - Beds burning, industrial type EDM, then i progressed to Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and then late HS and early college used to go to Clubs in Detroit the State theater, and other warehouses. The one good club in my college town was really into breaks.

  5. just to help CoSMiGoNoN out, I think the person that helped you might have been named Mauro Silva, unless there are two people at Crobar with very similar names.

Sorry to hear about your friend

  6. The only thing that makes me think it may not be a scam is that Lou Perlman is behind it. Although he is a pretty ruthless guy, I dont think he would have his name on a scam...I could be wrong though.
