The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH (225 Km/h) in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets. Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago. There are 65 photos from the meeting at Big Buck Brewery and the show in Detroit Touring The Angel 2005/2006 The band is currently on a world tour, to promote "Playing The Angel". "Touring The Angel" will take the band through North America and Europe, through April of 2006. I only had a chance to use my small camera , non-Canon gear ( Sony 717) in regular seats on the floor in the 24th row, but it was a great show. If you have never seen Depeche Mode live, I strongly recommend them. It was a wicked show.
