I agree a lot of change is due. But in this new "point and click society" i dont think much will happen. There is a lack of unity in many respects. And everyone is pissed but refuses to do anything about it.

if you think about it...we're spoiled. Every past generation has had to fight for some sort of right or belief. They basically didnt leave anything for us. We're enjoying life from their labors. I do believe we have the oppurtunity to perfect what was fought for in the past. But between work and day to day bullshit..who has the time anymore?

granted they might lose some money in sales.. but doesnt the exposure compensate??? you wouldnt know half the producers or dj's if it wasnt for the internet.

i miss it also... there was drama then...but it was always over music or clubs...not the majority of the bs you see here now.

i live in flushing. used to drag a generator and a system to fort totten a few years ago...the rollerbladers and bikers used to always give dirty looks. guess they didnt like techno during their afternoon excercise.

nothing beats this one guy i saw in london in one of the underground stations.. before you saw him..you heard a strumming of a guitar with a voice saying "i can see you...i can see you" over and over again after i turned the corner and saw him face to face...the dude was wearing a huge parka..with the hood over his eyes..

Dont know if any of you recall..but... had a little one off party a few weeks back that went rather well. The owner has asked us to come back and do it again soooo.... This Friday at: Millenium 25-68 Steinway Street Astoria We will be having the same mixture of deep progressive tunes with some trance and soulful house thrown in as well. every year they claim it might not happen... and after its over..they say they will never do it again.. im hoping to make it this year. both times i have went i have had enlightening experiences. the main parade is great but all the little things that occur outside of it are what make it an amazing adventure.

not a fancy place.... i imagine people will be going to twilo afterwards so i wouldnt stress the dress code thing. bring anyone and everyone...more the merrier. it starts at 10..but i imagine it wont get hectic till 11:30 or 12
