Considering it was my first time there, it was ok. I brought a friend along (another fellow NYer) and she didn't believe me that there is a club in Jersey that could be packed on a Wednesday night. As we made our way down from Jersey City listening to DT Global Underground (of course) in the car, we prepared ourselves to be entranced in an "Abyss" of music to dance the night away. The club was very easy to find and as we approached the club @ around 11:00 PM, there was hardly a long wait to get in. Once inside, I was taken aback a bit by a wall of cool lights that brought memories of club Life in NYC. As we walked in and made our way to the back, we were somewhat suprised that there hardly any people on the dance floor. We decided to "start" the party so we just went around the white sheer curtains onto the small dance floor. The music was ok, I really wasn't into too much of the vocals and stuff but I decided hey I am here and I am going to enjoy it. It was a little sad there weren't too many older guys on the dance floor. We spent most of our time enjoying the cool air from one side of the dance floor. The music in the basement could have been a little better if it was keeping true to the name of being a hip-hop room. For a sec, I felt I was at a house party and another time @ the likes of Webster Hall. To cut my review short, overall I had a decent time. The house music upstairs had a little too much vocals and Baez was ok. The sound system though could have been better (maybe having some speakers on the floor for a true bass effect) and the snow effect was pretty cool. I would probably re-visit Abyss but not on Wednesday. Its not worth being crazy tired the next day @ work. See y'all @ Tempts Sat! ------------------ Tutto e possibile!

Oh yeah I forgot...I like playing videogames too. BTW, sometimes I can't tell if someone is interested in me or just rolling. I met this one guy @ Exit. Seemed cool, gave him a call and totally forgot who I was! I love going out to clubs (going to Abyss tonight)..Any takers?...I am a clubbin' chic. I would go every night if it wasn't for work. I don't use E (and I am not downing it at all). My motto is do whatever that makes you happy...As long as you can look yourself in the mirror the next morning. I know what you mean sweetvee26. When going out I would meet soooo many people, but by the end of the night, its just me and my clubbin' friend going home home alone. I like to go out and have a good time. But once in a while I would not mind getting asked out to hang out after the club. I wish more guys stop being so intimidated by me. I think I am one of the most nicest person once you get to know me (and get past at how cool I dance or look). Anyway, enough of the sobb story but I love to workout (no I am girl...no muscle johnnie over here) and play sports (all kinds). I have never been to Tempts (I might this weekend) but are the guys there really that buffed lookin'? When I go out, most of the guys I see are mad short, bulging with muscles everywhere. I haven't been to Twilo in a long time. I think the last time was before they installed that system (K???). I heard they had installed it but I haven't checked it out as of yet. I agree with p00h. I don't use drugs or smoke but I still have a great time when I go out. I do drink occasionally but I don't need it to get my party on! And I don't think b/c a pretty girl asks or offers you something like that should tempt you to do it again. It must have taken you a lot to get where you are today (not drinking nor drugs) so keep it up for your own good. I think you owe it to yourself... ------------------ Andiamo alla spiaggia!

How come clubs in NYC (or wherever else) don't have those machines that blast cold air on you. If anyone here has been to Cancun clubbing, you know what I am talking about. Like @ La Boom where at a good part in a song, they blast this cold air on you from above and below. Its really refreshing after dancin' your butt off. In New York you see some crappy smoke machine but you are still hot as hell. Why can't some clubs spend the extra bucks to install something like that. I think it would be pretty cool. BTW if there is a club like that up up let me know. I would be first in line in there! Does anyone know what I am talkin' about? ------------------ Andiamo alla spiaggia!
