I totally agree. I'm just saying I think alot of guys(not all) that play off CD don't buy the music. They download it and it not right. There are guys that spend tons of money on Vinyl and I'm sure it bothers them. They really need to do something soon. If things keep going this way there will be nomore dance music.
The problem is most of the guys playing all CDs are downloading the music. Which means they are stealing it and not supporting the people that make it.
Sonic Foundry CD Architect 5.0 Musicians Friend has it for $149. It's the best way to make mixed CDs. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=030115083129167206185196151703/search/g=home/detail/base_id/100594
There were 2 new mixes last year. One was mine (Anthony DeVito) and the other was Positano from the UK. They were released on a few different labels in the UK and on RealTime in the US. Good luck finding a copy though. Anthony
It takes time to put a project together.....Remixes,mastering,pressing,promotion etc. The way I see it the problem with sales didn't start until these MP3 sharing sites got popular.
Brian... Me playing there is already in the works. Angelicious....I don't think we were introduced last night. I think it was doubledeuce that I met. Tooch.....All of us need to hang out like that more often! George.....Happy Birthday and thanks for taking care of us.
Had a great time last night! The music was really good....it was nice to see someone do something different in Jersey. It was cool meeting some people from the board.
She is right! It needs to stop! All the MP3 trading and downloading is really hurting labels, producers and remixers. The music industry is at an all time low right now.
