Went Sunday and had a good time.. goodlooking crowd and good beats.. food is defintely not cheap.. the salad and chicken is the cheapest thing on the menu at $35.. I shared the chicken with two other people and had about 3 slivers of chicken.. lamb chops looked good and so did the seafood platter.. but.. $100 for the seafood platter?! the $20 cover was pretty ridiculous also.. I came with 3 other people and we all work at 32 degrees in the Trop and they still made us all pay $20.. should do something about the bathrooms also.. they're horrbible!

I was really impressed with the service and the staff at every place we went.. the staff at Pure was unbelievable.. the best service I've ever experienced.. from our waitress who was very kind and helpful to the bouncers who checked on our table periodically and made sure everything was ok.. same with Rain, Body English and of course Darkvixen over at Drais!

so.. a friend of mine had some vip host or something that planned out this weekend for us.. we stayed at the Hard Rock for a bachelor party.. now this is my third time going to Vegas in the past year and a half and we didn't need a host to do anything for us the guy sends one of his hosts out to Ceaser's to meet us at 10:30 Friday to inform us that we have absolutely no chance of getting a table at Pure.. He says tables are booked months ago, but if we payed him $90 a piece (8 of us) $720 total he could get us in.. he says its way too exclusive to get more than 3 guys in.. I can remember paying $50 to get into Light last year on a Sunday, so we figure Pure must be that sick that its well worth the $$.. we pay the guy and he gets in line.. after 10 minutes we ask him why we are waiting in line and he says the owner is in the front.. finally he goes to the front of the line and allegedly pays the bouncer $200.. comes back and continues to wait in line.. We get fed up with this 'host'. My friend goes to the front of the line and simply tells the guy at the door we are going to spend a lot of $$.. he asks how many people and we tell him 8.. he lets us all in.. we get the money back from the 'host'.. WHAT A JOKE! we wake up the next day and the guy apologizes for his worker.. and tells us he can get all of us into Spearmint Rhino at 4 o clock in the afternoon for $400.. yea right! I really can't imagine why you would EVER need a host to get into a club.. Give that money straight to the guys at the door and tell them you are spending money.. or call and make a reservation.. We didn't pay a dime to get into Body English Sunday or Rain Sat. Same with Ice last time I was there..

depends on the club.. but N.Y. clubs are nothing like Vegas clubs.. ICE is the closest thing to Crobar, Roxy, Discotech..

i don't know everyone on the bachelor party.. besides Sat.. I'll only be going out with 7-9 people at most.. thanks for the advice though.. I've been to Rain a few times.. and I hate the music.. much rather go to ICE.. but.. I don't think DJ Skribble is too much better

Sat- Hard Rock pool till 4 4-7 Spearmint Rhino Rain (I wanted ICE but we got a good deal on a Cabana at Rain) Drais afterhours Sunday- Rehab @Hard Rock Body English

Everyone relax! This is just an internet hoax started by someone.. There isn't even a drug called Progesterex! Silver- before posting this.. do some research.. simply put progesterex into yahoo and you'll see its a fictitous drug.. and if this really happened it would be all over the news and you would be able to cite a internet article.. Progesterex doesn't exsist, no one got raped.. its just like that article someone posted about people poking others with Aids infested needles..

AC is taking a lot of steps in the right direction.. if you think about it.. before Borgata opened which was what? 4 years ago? just about the only places where Casbah,Deja Vu and Studio.. NOW.. you have MIXX, Casbah did all those renovations, Studio added Club Tru, The Quarter in the Tropicana with Cuba Libre, 32 degrees, Planet Rose and Missle Bar (250 millions dollars), Nikki Beach and The house of Blues coming next month and the new mall pier with just about everything! I heard that mall pier is going to be sick by the way.. the outlet area right off the expressway, and Borgata's $350 million dollar renovation plan to build a 45 story tower with new clubs and restaurants.. I heard the club is going to be 2 times the size of Mixx! And I hear rumors about 3 brand new casino's in the next 10 years?! thats progress right there! it's pretty small though.. its located next to the second floor of Cuba Libre.. same owners of 32 degrees and Cuba.. its about the size of Casbah's dancefloor

Missle Bar at the Quarter in the Tropicana just had its grand opening last week.. I believe its 100% house music.. next door at 32 degrees you'll also hear house.. but.. a mix of hip-pop also.. just like Casbah, Mixx and Deja

Not trying to take any business away from Nikki.. but.. check out 32 degrees in the new Quarter section of the Tropicana if things are looking good.. It should be REAL hott that weekend.. If you need a table or want to be on the list PM me with info.. I bartend there...

kayup- your right! it does sound like a headache.. i'm making plans for about 8-10 of us.. the rest can do whatever they'd like Kitty- I haven't stayed at the Hard Rock since I think the club was Baby's? I assume Body English is the old Baby's and Rehab is a new place in the Hard Rock? From what I've read on this board.. I was planning on this Fri- Pure then Drais Sat- Ice then Drais Sun- Light then ?? I've been to Ice on Sat. before and I love the house music.. but.. Scribble is there.. so.. I'm open to change that.. We are all from the N. Jersey, New York, Philly area so most of us like house.. and If you say Body English is good Sunday.. then maybe we'll go there? whats the reasoning behind not letting employees in on off time? could possibly see them not allowing them to drink.. but.. not letting them in at all is pretty weird?
