Hotbarbiedoll, I once felt the same way, and was convinced that I would never enjoy the actual taste of beer. Even years into my drinking career, I was convinced that I drank only to get drunk, and not to enjoy the taste of beer. However, as of the past three years, I've started to appreciate the flavor of certain beers. I don't quite know how it happened, but I started enjoying other aspects of drinking, such as the taste and sharpness of a beer as it gently flows down. Eventually, I started sipping rather than chugging, and I started realizing that beer drinking in itself is a true pleasure that not everyone gets to enjoy. It's a rare treat, and should be enjoyed in the most gentlemanly ( or gentlewomanly) of ways.

I think it was not too long after opening night. He spun a very nice set, even though the venue itself was not packed. Anthony Martinez @ Privillege Mondays - His short run there made for a terrific vibe, and, musically speaking, he's always on point.

Yeh, I miss the old flicks. Running Man, Commando, Predator, Total Recall, etc. His recent movies have been shit. I hope his role in Terminator 3 is good. He has a tendency to break his character from time to time in the terminator role. I hope he doesn't in part 3.

I remember an old tv show called D.J. Kat. It aired around the time of FOX TV's inception. There was a puppet cat named "D.J.," and his friend, Elizabeth. If I remember correctly, Jake the Snake Roberts even guest starred on one of the episodes. I used to love the show.

Since the end of "OZ," the wire has been the only HBO series worthy of viewing. Every program on HBO, other than Ali - G, boxing afterhours, America Undercover, and Autopsy, is bullshit. I can't stand any of it.

CPI killed a very important part of its vibe by roping off the section in front of the dj booth in order to create some half-assed, shitty looking VIP section. They also fucked up by roping off all of the sections of seating near the dancefloor. The roped off sections look stupid in a club like CPI; they look like they're not meant to be there. Nothing will ever beat dancing directly in front of the Dj booth back in 1998, looking at Ojeda (in his baseball hat wearing days) rip shit on the one and two's, and anticipating the slow, ghanja filled ride to Freedom Afterhours w/ dj Rob James. I miss the old Hamptons vibe so fuckin much.

My favorite scenes are: The Museum love - chase scene as well as the elevator murder scene in Brian DePalma's ode to Hitchcockian thrillers, "Dressed to Kill." The birthday cake murder scene in another of DePalma's odes to Hitchcock, "Sisters." The scene where Christopher Reeves turns Michael Caine's plot against him in Sidney Lumet's rendition of Ira Levin's "Deathtrap." The final scene in Roman Polanski's rendition of Ira Levin's "Rosemary's Baby," where Mia Farrow realizes that almost everyone she knows was in on the plot to incarnate the devil in her baby. The final scene between Macduff and Macbeth in Roman Polanski's rendition of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth." The tire blowout scene in Brian Depalma's take on Antoninoni's "Blow-up," "Blowout." The scene where Richard III woos Lady Anne in Al Pacino's "Looking For Richard." Every scene in Brian DePalma's "Obsession." The mall chase scene in Brian DePalma's "Body Double."

I'm sure he rampages throughout the film, but his color seems a bit too bright. A little darker skin, longer, more frizzy hair, and some other minor alterations would have made the difference. His color seems a little too Shreky.

Yes, that film is long overdue. I'm definitely catching it tomorrow. I thought the Hulk would have been a little less cuddly, however. His pigmentation is too light, and he looks a tad bit too neat to be the Hulk. I mean, Ang Lee managed to preserve alot of the old - school, "Hulk Smash" Hulk, but I was hoping for a more raggedy, beastly Hulk. Perhaps something like Whilce Portacio's "Savage Hulk" that was drawn for Marvel back in 96 or 97 during the company's revival of the original Incredible Hulk storyline. All in all, I'm fuckin happy to see the Hulk finally make it to the big screen.

Residencies and genres of house music aside, Junior Vasquez, stylistically, is unrivaled as a d.j. and producer. Tony Draper is a fuckin joke, and doesn't even hold a candle to some of the worst local talent that New York has to offer. I can't believe he's still in the scene. His productions are also a joke, and they show how limited his understanding of house music really is.
