  1. Is he spinning at CPI this saturday? Anyone heading over there this weekend?
  2. Does anyone have a copy of Shunji Moriwaki's "Shirushi O Chodai?" that they are willing to sell? I've been trying to track down a copy of this, but I can't seem to find one. Was it released under Jellybean or Eightball, or was it some other label? Thanks
  3. I was reading about T3: Rise of the Machines a few weeks ago, and the movie wasn't done by James Cameron, but by a different director. I saw some stills from the flick, and it kind of looked stupid. I hope this 3rd installment doesn't fuck up the entire series.
  4. One more on Friday, and the last one next Wednesday. Then, Summer classes await.
  5. I wouldn't mind seeing some lovable canines on my way into Factory. What kinds of dogs have they been using, German Sheppards? German Sheps are such handsome, noble, intelligent, lovable dogs. Did the dog seem peaceful to those of you who noticed it?
  6. Iliana, There is more to life than school, and one may fall behind academically at one point or another during undergraduate as well as graduate work. Working full time and pursuing education is a difficult task, especially in light of increasing economic demands. Fucking up in school is human, and it's not the end of the world. Coming back from those fuck ups and bringing yourself right back up to par in light of social / familial problems requires true intelligence. All individuals do not have the ability to pull off A's and B+'s throughout college, and their failure to do so is hardly a "waste of time." Labelling such a failure as nothing more than a "waste of time" just shows how utterly clueless you really are. Don't write about other people's fuck ups being a waste of time until you are able to redeem yourself from the stupid, uneducated, misinformed shit you often post here.
  7. A friend of mine said the Juniorverse party was incredible, and that attendance was great. I'm sorry I missed such a wonderful night of music. I actually like Earth alot. Great music, great vibe, great night. Nothing like Juniorverse, but, in my opinion, still one of the best afterhours venues in the city.
  8. Nobody was at Twilo classics night? What the fuck happened?
  9. The remake lagged behind by far. Original was great, with exceptional performances by Fonda and E.G. Marshall.
  10. When Savage and Luger were still in WCW (Before it was bought by McMahon), the company played off of the Elizabeth - Luger affair. I didn't realize that Savage and Elizabeth were actually divorced. She started looking shitty in the latter part of her career with those implants and what not, but she was surely a knockout back in the late eighties and early nineties.
  11. 21 or older for Saturday. Don't even bother going there until 6 a.m. or so on Sunday, otherwise you'll hear the echo of your own breath.
  12. lol, JMW. I noticed this message on a few occasions and thought it was some kind of peculiar post about the treatment / healing process of scars. How the hell could you confuse SARS with SCARS?
  13. No one is going to threaten your life. But, as one who loves and "knows about" house music, I believe that JP creates some very nasty beats. His late-morning tech-house sessions are not always my cup of tea, but some of those beats are out of this world. And the Factory of Sound, despite what you or anyone else claims, will never suck, and the afterhours there will always be a great.
  14. She's looks pretty with that hair cut.

  16. Don't take any more stupid shit. Not good for your heart.
  17. I started going to Twilo in 97. I've never been a fan of Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox, or any of the dj's who spun there on Friday nights. I was a fan of Juniorverse, and that party made going to Twilo more than worth it. Both the experience and the music on a Sunday afternoon were just beautiful. The Juniorverse venue represented house music at its finest.
  18. I can't believe this bullshit is happening at Factory.
  19. Despite the fact that Junior has yet to win a Grammy, I still think he is probably the most talented remixer/producer I've ever heard. Tenaglia is an undeniably talented dj and producer, but I feel that Junior is far more talented, both as a dj and a producer / remixer. After Junior, I'd have to go with Hex Hector as the second most talented producer / remixer.
  20. We haven't forgotten. We've just come to accept and love him for who he is, tendencies and all.

  24. The summer is in the air and I can feel the opening of CPI lingering in the air as well. Although CPI hasn't been the same for the past two summers (due to the onset of all the newer and arguably better venues in the Hamptons), I still get excited right before it opens up. For me, it signifies the beginning of the summer. I had plans to go away this summer, but, since I just got through my first year of law school and had very little time to enjoy my weekends, I will be spending my entire Summer in Nueva York, travelling to the Hamptons on Saturday night, chilling until the early A.M. hours, and then heading directly out to what has been and always will be the most beautiful city in the world. I am assuming Ojeda is resuming his usual residency at CPI this summer? He's at his best in CPI. God, I am itching to go out.
