  1. The reason all of ya saw Limelight and Tunnel on the news is because as of June 19th, 2001 the brew license was pulled. That's how the whole Twilo thing started. I don't know but seems to be following same trend. I think it will not be long before they go down like Twilo. What a shame while Dave and Exit remain. What a shame!!
  2. I'd say about 3-4 times a week, not including weekends. We live about 40min away. I've been spending less time in the gym and more time in the bedroom. Talk about cardio...
  3. I ripp it in the condom. Isn't that what it's for?

  5. I do admit that there can be a double standard when it comes to women. However, with communication between you and your significant other, there can be an agreement of some sort. I think that there's nothing wrong with looking. However, there's a way of going about it. If you really care about someone, then have the common courtesy of not making it so obvious. There's folks out there who glance when they're with their significant other. Shit is annoying. Especially when you have a partner who does it in spit. Ah!! the drama. Sleeping around.......been there, done that. Don't get me wrong, it's good to do what your mind and heart desires, but is it really worth the risk? Worth getting an STD? People, you can get genital herpes with a condom.....Hello......there's no cure. That's what made me just stop. I've had my share and fortunatley walked away without an illness....thank God. Besides, when you meet someone who is worth your time, you'll realize that in the end, just not worth it.

  15. Pain pill new drug of choice on street It offers relief -- and a `heroin' rush BY SHARI RUDAVSKY srudavsky@herald.com When law enforcement officials decry the evils of OxyContin, a painkiller gaining popularity as a recreational drug, they see the faces of people such as Alan, a former addict who chewed the drug for an immediate high and sold spare pills on the street. LEGITIMATE PATIENT: OxyContin has helped patients including Madeleine Thompson. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boca teen's death puts spotlight on painkiller When doctors tout the wonders of OxyContin, they see the faces of people such as Madeleine Thompson, who suffers from searing cancer pain that a single pill of the powerful prescription medication can drive away for long stretches of time. OxyContin, a time-release version of the compound found in Percodan, delivers steady pain relief to people with severe or chronic pain when used properly. For a huge, heroin-like rush, abusers consume the drug after removing the pill coating. The lure of the drug has contributed to scores of deaths in Florida alone, and sparked a mini crime wave. In the last five months, OxyContin has been stolen from five pharmacies in Broward and one in Dade. There have been 12 other break-ins involving OxyContin from St. Lucie south, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. On Friday, OxyContin manufacturer Purdue Pharma announced it would temporarily suspend shipment of the 160-mg version of the pill. The company has announced it will spend millions of dollars to try to develop a tamper-proof version of OxyContin. The DEA and the Food and Drug Administration are discussing how to reduce the illicit use of OxyContin. TO CURB ABUSE To further curb abuse, some doctors have tightened up on prescribing OxyContin and the state has limited Medicaid reimbursement for the drug. In the past year, oxycodone -- the primary component of OxyContin -- has been implicated in a rising number of drug overdose deaths in many states, including Florida. Oxycodone was found, often in concert with other drugs, in 52 of the 166 overdose deaths in Broward in 2000. In Miami-Dade County, oxycodone was present in 11 drug overdoses last year. This year in Broward at least eight people have died of overdoses that included oxycodone among other drugs, but that number will likely rise once toxicology reports are completed on a backlog of overdose cases at the medical examiner's office. In Miami-Dade, 11 people have died this year also from taking oxycodone -- most likely mixed with other drugs, according to the Miami-Dade medical examiner. Since 1999, South Florida hospitals have seen at least 221 oxycodone overdoses, about 150 of them last year. About 40 oxycodone overdoses have been identified this year, said Dr. Richard Weisman, director of the Florida Poison Information Center at the University of Miami. BEARING THE BLAME While OxyContin accounts for only a quarter of the prescriptions of oxycodone drugs, authorities believe this particular drug bears the blame for the increase in oxycodone deaths. ``What's alarming from an enforcement standpoint is that there have been so many overdoses across the country,'' said Joe Kilmer, a spokesman in the Miami field office of the DEA. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the federal office that tracks drug and alcohol abuse, has no hard nationwide data on oxycodone or OxyContin abuse because its illegal use has grown so quickly. ONE POINT For Thompson, who credits the drug with easing severe pain, the debate boils downs to one point: ``My only cause for concern would be if they tighten it up and make it unavailable to patients who really need it. OxyContin allows me to lead a fairly normal life.'' Last fall, the 53-year-old Fort Lauderdale woman developed debilitating abdominal pain stemming from pancreatic cancer. When not on OxyContin, she said, ``you just want to crawl up in a little ball and not be touched.'' ``That gave me a clue of what it would be like to be off it,'' she said. In the past, patients with her condition would have relied on short-acting drugs that created peaks and valleys of relief, said Dr. Pamela Sutton, Thompson's physician at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Pain management specialists like Sutton welcomed the arrival of OxyContin in 1995 as a medicine that would offer continuous relief to those who needed it. ``It's a wonderful addition to the possible medicines you can give to people with moderate to severe pain,'' Sutton said. ``In many ways it's changed the way pain management is done.'' While on OxyContin, Thompson can drive, run errands, meet friends for lunch. Her chemotherapy treatments often leave her exhausted but at least, she says, cancer pain has not dictated her life. Most important, perhaps, without pain sapping her stamina, she can devote herself to beating the cancer. ``It enables you to concentrate on being well and gives you the strength to fight the disease,'' she said. FORMER ADDICT Strength is something that Alan will need in the coming months. A former cocaine addict, Alan, who asked that his real name not be used, began taking OxyContin when a doctor prescribed it to him to reduce the pain he suffered as a side effect of HIV medications. Friends told Alan the drug would deliver a mind-blowing high if he broke through the time-release coating and consumed the opiate all at once. ``When you break the tablet, chew it or snort it, it goes into your bloodstream immediately,'' he said. ``It got me very hyper and it got rid of the pain.'' Eventually Alan went to another doctor, one willing to write patients prescriptions without asking questions. After a perfunctory examination, Alan said, the doctor gave him a prescription for 40 tablets. Alan wrote him a check for $150 and promptly headed to the street to resell a good portion of the OxyContin, which can go on the street for as high as $1 per milligram. ``That opened the door for me to return to using crack cocaine,'' he said sheepishly. After about a month, Alan resolved to stop abusing the OxyContin and returned to his original doctor. OxyContin appealed to Alan because he could snort it just as he would cocaine. It appealed to Lisa, another recovering addict who went on an OxyContin binge a few months ago, precisely because she did not have to snort or inject it. Like Alan, Lisa identified a doctor whom she knew would not ask too many questions. The doctor never ascertained that she was already on methadone to curb a long-standing habit of abusing prescription drugs. ``It's a business, everybody's making money,'' she said. HORRIFIED DOCTORS But many doctors who see OxyContin as an excellent alternative for fighting pain are horrified to learn how it might be abused. Dr. Robert Glasser, a hematologist-oncologist at Memorial West in Pembroke Pines, said in most cases he will prescribe the drug only for patients with malignant cancer. ``I'm trying not to flood the streets,'' he said. ``We want to limit the supply as much as we can.'' The state's Agency for Health Care Administration recently placed a limit on the number of OxyContin pills a Medicaid patient can receive per prescription. The cap depends on the dosage. The agency is reviewing other steps it could take to curb illicit use of the drug.

  20. This probably belongs in the drug forum, but it can't hurt to post it here...... I recieved this email in reference to designer drugs info, etc. Here it is: Dear friend and fellow athlete, It has recently come to my attention that athletes, bodybuilders, and models are starting to party with three relatively new research chemicals. In this issue of Elite Fitness News, I would like to share with you what is known about these new research chemicals that are becoming increasingly common at parties, raves, and discos. I would also like to tell you about a safe, legal, party stack of my own that I and many others find very pleasurable. The first research chemical that bodybuilders, models, and athletes are beginning to use at clubs is a substance that goes by the street name of Foxy, or Foxy Methoxy. The pharmaceutical name is 5-methoxy-N,N- diisopropyltryptamine or 5-MeO-DIPT for short. The second research chemical that we have heard quite a lot about recently goes by Mystic on the streets. The pharmaceutical name for Mystic is 4-propylthio-2,5- dimethoxyphenethylamine or 2C-T-7. The third substance, which is no longer a research chemical and has now been scheduled as a Schedule 1 drug is 2-(4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxy-phenyl)-ethylamine or 2C-B for short. On the street, 2C-B goes by the names Venus, Bromo, Eros, and Nexus. All three of these substances were first synthesized by Dr. Alexander Shulgin. Dr. Shulgin was the first to synthesize MDMA better known as Ecstasy. These drugs could be called designer drugs, as they were developed once Ecstasy became illegal in 1985. Before we discuss these new drugs, it might be helpful to look at what exactly are research chemicals. Research chemicals literally refer to chemicals that are still being researched. When used to describe psychoactive drugs, it refers to new drugs that have not been thoroughly studied. Some research chemicals are newly discovered substances, others may be ten or even twenty years old, but have not been studied. What is common to both types of drugs is that there is little research if any on the pharmacology or toxicology of these substances. Most likely, there are no human or animal studies on these substances. In direct contrast with drugs like ecstasy, which has been taken by millions of people for the last three decades, and marijuana that has been used by billions of people for thousands of years, research chemicals are new and may only have been used by several hundred people for several months. Obviously, the risks with the use of research chemicals are enormous. But perhaps because of many bodybuilders' daredevil spirit, we are beginning to see more and more experimentation with these substances in our community. Here is what we know so far. Foxy Methoxy 5-methoxy-N,N-diisopropyltryptamine Foxy Methoxy or 5-MeO-DIPT has proven to be quite interesting as a recreational substance. We believe that 5-MeO-DIPT has been given the name "Foxy Methoxy" as it pleasantly enhances tactile sensation in most users. At this time, as a research chemical, 5-MeO-DIPT is not illegal in the United States. Foxy should be white or tan in appearance. Since it is an indole alkaloid derivative, it has a strong indole smell and taste which most people find very unpleasant. Like other related substances, foxy combines with nerve receptors and liberates serotonin. As many people know by now, serotonin or 5-hydroxytryptamine, is a neurotransmitter involved with sleep, pleasure, depression, and memory. Foxy's onset, duration, and effects vary according to your metabolism and neurochemistry. Other factors that may affect the trip: whether or not you have a full stomach (fasting for at least 12 hours prior is recommended); psychological/emotional state you are experiencing when you dose; the environment it is taken in, etc. These variables are true of all psychedelics. Generally, the effects build for roughly 2 hours, at which point the peak is reached, and then there is a gradual wearing off that lasts for about five hours. Foxy appears to be a drug that is fairly safe and may have potential for therapeutic applications. It definitely deserves more research. Dosage 5-MeO-DIPT is an extremely potent material making careful measurement an absolute must. Without a scale, it can be very easy to overdose. It is not a good idea to "eyeball" a dose of this substance, as the dose-to-response curve is extremely steep. When taken orally at low doses (5-10mg), 5-MeO-DIPT induces a warm, pleasant state in which tactile and aural sensations may be enhanced. Many people have commented that at this dosage range, Foxy possesses amazing aphrodisiac qualities - enhancing the libido significantly. Increasing the dosage beyond the 10mg mark, athletes report the effects become increasingly psychedelic, producing vivid visuals and mental phenomenon similar to LSD or Psilocybe mushrooms. Taking over 25mg at once could prove to be highly dangerous. Booster Doses Bodybuilders have reported taking booster doses to prolong the effects. Since tolerance does not develop significantly until after the peak of the trip, athletes report that the optimal time for a booster dose is just prior to the onset of the peak. Side Effects: Fortunately, bodybuilders have not reported many side effects from Foxy. Some have reported insomnia following the trip while others reported nausea sometimes accompanied by vomiting. This can be avoided by fasting for twelve hours prior to ingestion and possibly using Loperamide -- the active ingredient in anti-diarrhea medications like Immodium. As with all mind-altering substances, certain common-sense precautions exist with this drug. Do not drive a car; operate heavy machinery, etc. while under its influence. It should not be used if you are pregnant, nursing, or not of a mature emotional level. Those with a pre-existing medical or psychological conditions should also avoid this drug. Users have reported developing a tolerance to Foxy after taking it. If one does not wait about a week before using this substance again, the effects will be barely felt, or more will be required to produce the same effect. At present, 5-MeO-DIPT has caused no human deaths. Storage Store in an airtight container, kept in a cool, dark location. Mystic 2C-T-7 4-propylthio-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine, C12H21O2NS (mol. wt. 243.37) Another research chemical that is gaining popularity in the bodybuilder community is 2C-T-7, known on the street as Mystic. Anecdotal evidence suggests that Mystic produces a more pronounced hallucinogenic effect than does Foxy - hence its name Mystic. Like Foxy, Mystic tends to produce some of the same feelings of euphoria. A trip reportedly lasts about seven hours, with a peak at the end of the second hour. When administered nasally, like Foxy, the onset tends to come much quicker. As of this writing, we believe that Mystic is legal. Overall, athletes, bodybuilders, and models have reported positive experiences from this substance. Even the people who have expressed no interest in taking it again often state that they are glad they had the experience. Dosages Taken orally, a number of people report strong effects from dosages as low as 10 mg; however, most believe that 15-25 mg is considered a mild dosage. A moderate dosage would be in the neighborhood of 25 to 35 mg. More than 35 mg would be considered a strong dose. Side effects While side effects such as nausea are common, people do not seem bothered by this fact. Some people have used the drug recklessly, in high doses and reported that they "freaked-out" like from a bad LSD trip. They also reported severe nausea. Negative side effects tend to be more severe when the drug is administered nasally. There is one death associated with 2C-T-7. A young man with no known health problems and who was taking no other drugs insufflated (snorted) a 35mg dose. The most common nasal dose is 3-6 mg. This young man began bleeding profusely from the nose, vomiting, and convulsing. He then went into cardiac arrest and died. Although the death could be caused by any number of things such as an unknown heart problem pushed over the edge by a severe panic reaction, toxic impurities in the drug, other drugs taken, allergic reaction to the drug, we cannot rule out the possibility that it was an overdose. Autopsy results are not available. Venus, Bromo, Eros, and Nexus 2C-B 4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine The substance 2C-B, also known as "Venus", "Bromo", "Eros", or "Nexus", is currently a Schedule-I substance. After a company marketed 2C-B for human consumption, this former research chemical was scheduled, meaning that it is illegal to posses, manufacture, or distribute any amount of 2C-B for any purpose. Any persons caught breaking this law can be subject to prosecution. 2C-B is related structurally to mescaline, DOB, and distantly to MDMA. It was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin in 1974 while exploring homologues of DOB. Its psychoactivity was first discovered on June 25, 1975 by Dr. Shulgin who described it as "beautifully active". 2C-B was marketed in the late 1980s as an MDMA replacement after Ecstasy was scheduled in 1985. It was added to Schedule I in the U.S. in 1994 and by 1999, it was illegal in most of the world. 2C-B has become popular in Germany and Switzerland and is believed to be manufactured in South Africa and the Netherlands. It is becoming popular with bodybuilders and models and has begun to appear on the Rave scene. The drug promotes an enhancement of visual and auditory perception, in- creased sexual desire, and heightened senses of taste and touch. The effects of 2C-B have been described as a cross between the effects of LSD and MDMA. Athletes report that it is mildly psychedelic, much less mind-expanding or disassociative than mushrooms or LSD, but much less directed than MDMA. The drug peaks about 90 minutes after ingestion. Most people experience 2C-B as being much 'lighter' on their body than MDMA with far less 'crash' and much less physically draining. It is also not as 'easy' as MDMA, in that it is more of a 'true' psychedelic -- allowing the users mind to become manifest and create the experience instead of being 'pushed' into a positive mood space as MDMA usually does. Dosage Nexus is generally available in pill, capsule, or powder form. It is ten times more powerful than MDMA with a typical dosage unit ranging from 5 to 10 milligrams Side Effects 2C-B includes Open Eye Visual (OEV) effects that are usually described as crawling, shifting, or undulating, or cartooning. Closed Eye Visuals (CEVs) are present and increase with dosage. Many report a 'color shift' where objects seem to have red or green halos around them The drug does have some serious side effects, including confusion, cardiovascular disturbances, and dehydration. No price data are available at this time. Many, but not all, people experience stomach discomfort sometimes including mild diarrhea, gas, nausea and (rarely) vomiting. Some people find 2C-B increases their ability to communicate verbally, while others find themselves unable to elucidate their ideas clearly. Some people describe a type of confusion that can be part of the experience, a type of 'stoned' feeling of mental and physical relaxation which can translate into the inability or lack of desire to go into complex intellectual processes. As I mentioned before, the long-term risks of these substances are unknown and therefore much greater than with older better-studied drugs. Using these substances make athletes into human guinea pigs. Bodybuilders tend to be particularly susceptible to the use of these substances for recreational purposes as they hare used to experimentation with anabolic and androgenic steroids. These drugs may be harmless and the may be beneficial, or they could turn out to be like MPTP, the drug that caused the DEA to be given emergency scheduling powers. MPTP was the byproduct of a faulty designer opiate. A chemist was trying to develop a synthetic heroin. What was created instead was a compound that metabolizes in the body selectively killing dopamine neurons in the striatum -- producing a syndrome nearly identical to Parkinson's disease. Using MPTP just once was sufficient to produce this result. So again, the moral is when you take a research chemicals, you are stepping out into the unknown, and you could be the unfortunate person to discover a new drug's lethal dose. You could find yourself addicted. Or you overdose and end up at the hospital, the doctors will only be able to guess at how to treat you. If you aren't prepared to accept these risks, you should avoid research chemicals. At this point of course, I have to make my compulsory plug for Mass Quantities. I would like to tell you about a secret combination of three nutriceuticals that I stack when I have a hot date or when I plan to go dancing and want a boost. My secret party stack is one or two Tribulus Gold, one or two Andro Infusion, and one or two Phenyltropic. More than this is not required, and in the case of Phenyltropic, too much of a good thing can have the opposite of the desired effect if you know what I mean. I take the Tribulus Gold because of the profound effect it has on the libido and on potency. Actually, I take Tribulus Gold all year round :-). If it can work this well in an older man like myself, just think what it can do in younger men. I take the Andro Infusion for two reasons. First, I like the testosterone boost and the buzz that comes from that. Secondly, I like the tingly and warm sensation that comes from the Niacin. And lastly, I take the Phenyltropic, because I like the focused, time- released energy that it gives me. I also like how it raises the libido as well. Pop one or two of each of these three nutriceuticals and you are ready to party! For a testosterone rush, increased libido, and a raging erection, go to: http://www.massquantities.com
  21. I can totally relate with what ya are talking about. Funny how women are the worst. Ya just don't respect. Usually when I go out with my girl, women try to fuck shit up and come between us. If I'm with my girl and it's obvious, don't grab my ass. I don't mind if ya stare because that's what eyes are for, but shit.....don't fcking touch me. I hate that shit. I recently went to Club NY and had to deal with all the drama the whole night. It started with a stare. Then it moved on to grabbing my hand while I'm with my girl. I moved to the bar and yep, the bug a boo followed with her so called date to keep looking and blowing kisses at me. My girl got all upset and eventually we had to leave to avoid anymore drama. Totally sucks that couples sometimes have to deal with jealousy or other folks stupidity at the risk of having a good time out. Now, I just either go to a lounge or chill elsewhere. People, if you see a couple having a good time TOGETHER, BE HAPPY FOR THEM AND LEAVE THEM THE FCK ALONE. MAYBE THAT'S WHY YOU'RE ALONE TO BEGIN WITH. NO PUN INTENDED, BUT DAMN.....PATHETIC!!
