No threads yet - so I'll start it - Centro was jammed I mean really packed (they actaully stopped taking coats after a while because it was too full) but for the most part the vibe was incredible. Jimmy Van has always been the perfect warm up for Diggers and in true form he was again. Don't know a lot of the tracks he spun but the crowd was very into him. Diggers started at 2:30 got on the mic and started complaining about how long a train ride it took him to get here. From that point it was just amazing - First track the Lex Ave remix of Depeche Mode and the crowd was going crazy. He played a sick breaks track like 3 tracks in which was incredible. Other tracks I recognized in that first hour was Infusion-Legacy (Junkie XL remix) and Magan & Del Rio meet Lopez-Carolina (Kut N Paste mix). Had to leave by 4 to get up today so couldnt stay unfortunately Getting the coats at the end was unreal-I mean they are not staffed correctly plus I think their system for the coats seemed fucked up because it was taking them a long time to find peoples coats. Womdering how long he spun until - anyone stay to the end? Hope he comes back to Centro soon - it was great -Trancer:rolleyes:

From the Deep Dish messageboard : Around 7pm tonight Ali from Deep Dish and their Manager went to LL for sound check. The room was finished but of course some fine tuning was being done. A mirror or piece of glass that was suspended fell. It was part of a large array in an area that would have had heavy traffic. With no way to get in touch with the contractor that built the piece, the venue didn't want to risk other mirrors falling and hurting someone. There was no way to block off the area where the glass was. So you will have to wait for Danny T. Deep Dish asked to send an apology to all who anticipated coming but was more concerned for your safety. This postponment had nothing to do with the Fire Marshall. Supposedly DD was hanging out at ARC - anyone see 'em? -Trancer

I was really looking forward to seeing DD spin on saturday and wound up leaving another club early just to get up there to see them. The guy at the limelight door made it seem like DD was actually going to be spinning at Centro so that's why everyone I was with decided to go over there. Luckily, my comps worked there too. Tiga wasn't bad but wasnt really in the mood for electro so I was hanging thinking that DD would actually be spinning but after a while it got boring so we all left. I think they were charging like $35 or $40 to get in so I was definitely thinkin DD would spin but o well, will have to wait for next time. -Trancer:rolleyes:

Absolutely amazing and surprise guest Tiga spun as well - just absolute chaos on the turntables and they kept everyone dancing all nite with their insane mix of rock, 80's, house, and electro - I can't wait til they come back again - props to whoever threw this party plus the fact that it was free - the only negative was the outrageous drink prices $11 for a Grey Goose and tonic...c'mon now - my ears are still ringing ... -Trancer:rolleyes:
