One of my faves this year but I'm kinda gettin sick of it since I've had the promo for months and hear it all the time -Trancer
-
Saw them about 4 years ago - absolutely the best live show for a trance, houdse or electonica act that I've ever seen - can't give anything away - you have to experience it for yourself -Trancer

Damn - I got to Twilo too early last nite and by 5:30 am my buddy and I were tired as shit - We were really lookin forward to Tenaglia - I can't believe he didn't go on earlier. I thought Digweed's set was unimpressive - really only a few stand outs - recently I've been disappointed with his last few sets at Twilo - I hear way better sets from him at other places it seems like - maybe he threw in some better tunes after I left. I have to go later the next time so I can last to the end -Trancer

You're from Brooklyn and it's gonna take you 41/2 hrs to get to Twilo??? - Are u walking? I'm in Jersey and it only takes me 45 min but hell you gotta get there early tonite -Trancer

Excellent track - got a promo on this months ago - It was actually on Napster under Sasha - Lupus for some reason (I guess someone didnt know what they had) -Trancer

When I saw that video I almost pissed myself - it is hysterical. Walken is an absolute nut!!!! -Trancer

Yeah - it's old but there's that new Tiesto mix that everyone's dropping - still prefer the Humate mix... -Trancer

Late April is the newest date I heard -Trancer

Depends on what you're looking for - Mondo has the has a big selection but a lot of it is dated - Soundz has a small selection that is excellent and most is very current - I guess it really depends what you want. -Trancer

trancer70 replied to pimpinforu's topic in New York / New Jersey
What kinda DJ's???? Are you looking for strictly battle/scratching or beat mixing?? -Trancer -
There's 2 of 'em that I heard : Timo Maas & X-Press 2 The X-press 2 mix is way better IMO -Trancer

03/30/01..... TWILO...... S&D..... WHO WILL BE THERE?!?
trancer70 replied to jennEfer's topic in New York / New Jersey
Everyone who is anyone will be there - last years anniversary party was jammed - this ones gonna be off the hook - I'm sure the line is gonna be unbelievably long so I'm planning on going with a bunch of people very, very late (or early for that matter) -Trancer -
I dont have that mix but there are 2 songs right now that sound similar : Phatts & Small - "Respect the Cock" and A Small phat one - "Respect the Cock" I'm sure both are on napster but the small phat one is the better version. -Trancer

1. X-Press2 - Muzikizum 2. Photek - Mine to Give (Satoshi Tomiie dub) 3. Stylus Trouble - Sputnik 4. Breeder - NYFM (Sander K mix) 5. tie between Kosheen - Hide U (John Creamer & Stephane K mix) & Trancesetters - Synergy -Trancer

Yep - it's absolutely his remix - I was surprised too that it was that slow but I'm lovin it even more than the Deep Dish mix which I can't get enough of either. -Trancer

That link isn't working - it's asking for a username/pwd. -Trancer

Found it (with the help of another message board) - It's Timo Maas - Der Schieber (original mix) PVD sped it up big time - that's why I didn't recognize it at first - if you need a mp3 of it I have it - just e-mail me - Trancer trancer70@home.com

Sorry goddess, Couldn't find that track - I thought I owned it or had it on something besides that mix - I'll see if I can get someone else to help. -Trancer
-
Also - you should check it out during the week if you can - believe it or not Tuesday is their most crowded nite! 80's downstairs and Drum n bass upstairs - check out thier website - it gives all the info. http://www.melodybar.com/ -Trancer

Yep - that's me downstairs on Saturdays (aka Iron Mike) I don't really start the house/trance until later in the evening - the manager wants a mix of alternative and hard stuff thrown in so it will appeal to everyone. That way a very diverse crowd will be there which is what we want. -Trancer

The Melody is really the only place to go in Brunswick (Shameless promotion because I spin there) - It's a wide variety of music from 80's & alternative to trance, house & drum n bass - the Roxy in Brunswick used to be OK until it got shut years ago. I wouldn't recommend anything else in Brunswick unless you're looking for a typical college bar (Doll's Place) or to see bands (Court Tavern). I can't help you with anything in Princeton - I don't anyone who heads down there to hang. -Trancer

It could be a bunch of different things - Worn out stylus Cheap cartridge Worn or bad vinyl or Incorrect settings with the tonearm weight, base, and anti-skip setting The problem with the settings is that everyone will tell you a different way to set those. You should try several ways to see which works for you better. Personally I turn the height adj all the way past 6 and the anti-skating all the way to 3. For me that solves any probs I've ever had with skipping, back-cueing, or scratching. This may not work for you depending on the cartridges you use. -Trancer
-
Are u sure??? I just listened to that set - I'm pretty sure it's the same because of the Sander K song and your description on where the song hits is correct -Trancer
-
Yep - that's it - Thanks !!!! -Trancer

Your track ID's are wrong... sorry... 1. Zoe (Timo maas mix) - Paganini Traxx 2. Get Lost (Stereo dub) - Eric Clapton 3. (The song you're looking for) 4. My Lexicon - Sander K I've heard that track and am sure I have it somewhere - I will look for it this week. -Trancer
