Out of town visitors want to know

I have a group of about 8, we're planning to go to Sullivan Room, then Discoteque. In lower Manhattan, cabs are impossible now, and its only gonna get worse as the night goes on. I've called 20 limo companies and cant get a limo or SUV- anyone taking a limo, exp an SUV in the city tonight? We will pay you WELL to take our group from the Union Square area to Sullivan room. Getting happy and sitting around the apartment listening to Cds is just not gonna cut it, we need to go out. Actually, even if you aren't taking a limo but have your own SUV, we'll compensate someone very well to get us to our destination. Please!?!?!

Please don't respond with name any specific clubs or venues, its not necessary and will just be stepping on peoples toes.

I have a group of 5-10 mid/late 20's mixed male/female in need of a place to go, either Friday or Saturday. The catch is that 1/2 of the group loves clubbing and the other 1/2 is more a lounge crowd. If you know specific contact numbers I would use to reserve a table and cost, that would be really helpful. Thanks for advice.

As most people on the boards, I've posted here while I was still high, but Miamimonk you're outta control- lay off the crank/crack/coke, you're way too paranoid. This is not propaganda at all, it is a fair and balanced presentation of up and coming club drugs Foxy, DMT, AMT. I don't have editorial control over the content, but the director and producer want something that shows as many facets of these drugs as possible. Thus, in addition to having clubbers who use this, like it, and have not problems with it, they also want people who didn't like it or had a problem, such as getting sick or having a really bad trip (the most common problem). I would think that someone on this board would be happy to have fair and balanced info about elements available in the media, even if it is overseas. Anyhow, this is still available. I have learned that if you are from outside NYC, it might be possible to have your air/train travel covered. rjh

I just got home from Crunch, and in the gym they have a notice posted regarding comp/free admission to Crobar from 10 pm to midnight tonight and tomorrow night (Saturday). Simply mention "Crunch" at the door and you're in free. For a while I have been thinking that I'm getting screwed by paying $1150 per year for my gym membership, but now that they've made this offer, it sorta like I'm only paying $1125 per year, so I think Crunch is a real bargain. Not. But they do have this comp admission and amusing TV ads.

Go to any of the small head shops around West 4th or in the Village. They have all sizes, spoon/no spoon, etc. Don't get taxed, if you buy small quantities, you may pay up to $1 per jar, if you buy a whole tray, 25 cents or so.

Untrue, the half-life of MDMA doesn't change based on the route of administration (i.e. the liver doesn't "clear" it faster). A certain threshold concentration of the drug is necessary to "feel" it, it is true that slower approach to maximal bioavailability (taking the drug in a way that results in slower absorbtion) may result in a longer time to completely clear the drug from the blood, there is not proof that this results in a briefer 'high". 2 reasons to chew include more rapid absorbtion AND greater quantity absorbed (greater bioavailability) due to surface area. If there were a difference in how long the effects of a drug with slower absorbtion last relative to same drug with faster absorbtion, the difference will never be greater than the linear time difference- this does not affect nonlinear pharmacokinetics. For amphetamines, this difference would probably be measured in minutes (i.e. 30 mintues)- 15 minute absorbtion of drug chewed thoroughly taken on empty stomach vs 45 minute-1 hour absorbtion of non-chewed pill taken on empty stomach. This 30 minutes would be spent at the low end of the elimiation curve, so it would be 30 minutes of the lowest concentrations of MDMA, likely to be unfelt by the user.

I have 10 years and hundreds of K-holes with K from all over the world. I am not in any way referring to your subjective experience with K, I am only referring to scientific fact, ketamine is a molecule, there is no difference what the language on the bottle is or how concentrated it initially was, it is the same after you have evaporated the liquid it is dissolved in. This is not an opinion, just a fact of basic chemistry.

Letting X dissolve on your tongue is a senseless exercise in stupidity. It doesn't hit you or get absorbed any faster, just tastes like shit. Majinbuu has it right, chew up and swallow for faster absorbtion. If it comes on faster it does not last a briefer time.

Don't waste the time drinking water, that won't make any difference. Coke, speed, MDMA about 72 hours max, week up to one week for single use, up to one month for chronic users. Ketamine and PCP are longer than MDMA, coke, and speed. K and PCP detectable for up to 5-7 days.

Be careful injecting. At low doses there is no respiratory depression (stop breating) but at very large doses there is. If anyone is stupid enough to mainline a large volume, you could get fucked. Also, when you shoot, you have to pay attention to the concentration you're using. Obviously the potent stuff is 100 mg/mL (mL=cc) but there are various concentrations, so the smart thing to do when talking about shooting is speak about mg you're using, not cc or mL

The ban is on ephedra sales, not on possession. Ephedrine is a legally prescribable medication, not banned. Ephedra possession is still OK, just will be more difficult to buy.

Ketamine is a chemical- saying Mexican, or American, or Japanes K is "stronger" like saying Coca Cola in a can with Japanese writing on it is any different than Coca Cola you buy at the bodega (well, not a great analogy, but whatever) There is no difference in potency between any different brands of ketamine, it is a molecule. I don't mean to sound denigrating, but read a little about basic chemistry to understand this. There is absolutely no difference in potency (when cooked)- the liquids can be of varying concentrations, usually from 10 mg/mL to 100 mg/mL, but once its cooked, there is no difference, this only deals with how much diluent (water) the ketamine is swimming in.

I gotta admit runnin out of Twilo, catching a cab 10 blocks home, nuking some shit, and then back to Twilo, total round trip less than 25 minutes, cost $11 cab plus $25 at door, but PRICELESS Nuking not only loses product yield, it also produces other chemicals than ketamine, this is due to cross reaction of both ketamine with itself as well as benzalkonium preservative in K.

ANyone who insists that MDMA is not neurotoxic is 1) UNINFORMED 2) LYING 3)RATIONALIZING 4)COMBINATION OF 1,2,3 Just because Ricaurte's SINGLE study was performed with methamphetamine instead of MDMA, this does nothing to discredit any of the other HUNDREDS of studies demonstrating the deleterious neurologic effects of MDMA in both humans and animals. Even the user with no level of scientific or medical sophistication should be able to grasp this- after taking X (10,25,50, whatever) times, does it still feel the same way those first rolls did? Why not- PERMANENT NEUROLOGIC DAMAGE- don't feel bad, you're in good company, we all got it. The question for you is really, how much more MDMA (and damage) are you willing to do. Thats an answer you have to decide for yourself, we all pick our poison and deal with the consequences.

If you do your reading on the topic, you will notice that you develop tachyphylaxis, similar to tolerance, to the effects, so progressively you will have to increase your dose to achieve the same effects. This resolves after you go off the stuff for a few weeks. Be super carefule when dosing up with this shit, the half-life (essientially the time it takes for your body to clear it) is so long that if you take so much that you feel sick or too jittery, you may be that way for over 24 hours.
