So question (for people who have been clubbing for at least 5 years)- do you also think NYC clubbing has changed?

Not a rumor, confirmed by Exit, paramedics, Junior was taken out of Exit with a suspected heart attack and is not in the hospital. We were initially annoyed because it was obvious that no one was in the DJ booth for many hours, but we understand given the circumstances.

Last night I went to Exit way early (because I didn't want to be in the mob of people seeing Cher @ Roxy). At the door, I underwent the most intense search by security EVER- this guy squeezed up and down my legs all the way into the crack of my tush, under my jewels and pushed all around my dick looking for elements. He squeezed all seams of my pants/jacket etc really going at it. Up to that point I was clean, but then I got busted when he made me take my shoes off (first time I've ever been asked to do that). There in my shoe were 12 rolls and 3 jars that they took. They let me into the club after taking a picture of me and saying if I ever got busted again they'd contact the NYPD. Whats the deal with the intense search- I've never been searched like that before (but I usually go at about 8 am). Is this standard @ Exit now? The real shitty thing is that I think these guys probably just kept my shit for themselves or sold them. Anyone else have a similar encounter @ Exit?

Every year a group of friends comes from Florida to party in Manhattan for about a week or two around New Year's Eve. Yea, in Mexico, K isn't considered a drug. Yo can go into any farm/ animal feed store and buy it by the case. Yes, it is a felonly to bring it back, so I would not wanna get busted doing it. It has similarity to speed (you have energy for 7 hours) XTC (you get some happiness, touchy-feely, but not nearly as much as XTC) and also similar to mushrooms (some visuals and nausea). I will be travelling to Barcelona in mid May, and am wondering if there is any reason to go to Ibiza then? I really want to check it out, but wonder if that is too early in the year to enjoy the place or if it is still worthwhile to visit for the purpose of partying in May? 2 people ended up in the ER this weekend after taking the same type of pill (1 guy took 1 pill, the other guy took 2). We found out through the grapevine and from the ER doctor that 4 people who took 1 or 2 of these pills ended up in the ER really messed up, with chest pain, unable to speak or function normally. The symptoms have lasted for more than 24 hours now. I don't want to create a panic, so I won't identify the pills here, but if anyone has had a similar experience recently or even this weekend, by all means email me. If enough people name the same pill, I guess I/we should make the identity of it known. These guys are really pretty messed up.

This party used to be so enjoyable, but I was totally disappointed with the inability of people to politely enoy themselves. I guess this is a post to vent, and also to ask if other people find the crowd at S & D to be changing for the worse?

Bad news

A friend in the media is producing a segment on a nationally sydnicated show and needs help getting some clubbers. They are doing the piece kinda specifically about high school kids who party, so they want people teenage. The interviews will be short, probably about 20 minutes of taping which will be edited down to a shorter time. The faces of the people will be blurred to conceal their identity. I'm not sure what the reimbursement will be, it may be nothing, but if they do pay it will be small, probably less than $100. I will be doing it also. Taping will be this week in the daytime, they will bring the camera crew to you, at school, home, even a club (that would be coolest).
