i'd have to say Steve Lawler is the king of tribal house. anyone who goes to the jungles of Africa and samples monkeys and African tribes, and then throws those samples into his sets, is definately doing something that no one else is . H-Foundation are a close second. I wouldn't say they're too dark. More on the funky/dubby side. But they're one of my favorites.
