Essential Mix Yousef Live @ Telewest Arena this set is only 30 mins...but the best 30 min set I've ever heard. Great to listen to in the car on the way to Vinyl to hear Roger 'the Animal' Sanchez .

the only good thing is: you get to be on shows afterward,s such as: Behind the Music Whatever Happened To... and E! True Hollywood Story but even then it sucks cause they talk about the BAD shit that happened to you WHILE you were famous, and why you're not famous anymore.

I live in north NJ. a friend of a friend was having a party in Mill Basin, Brooklyn...wanted me to spin. prior to that....Had to go to my girlfriends house at the time...for her sister's Birthday , in Staten Island. My gear was at my place in the city where I was staying during the summer. I leave her house...in Staten Island...pouring rain...window wipers barely working...12am...to go to the city, specifically the village to pick up my stuff. THEN....I haul back, to Mill Basin. Get to the party at around 2am. It's not dead yet...but getting there. Only good thing was that people were glad that I came. Spun for about 30 mins, stayed for 20 more...went home. NOW THAT'S FUCKIN' PASSION.

i think alot of people...NOT ALL...in NYC are on the cheese bandwagon PERIOD. not only with breaks and/or certain DJ's. This country is VERY behind in dance music. Tiesto for example is FINALLY popular here. It's plain sad. He been tearing it up in Europe since 96 or 97. Same goes for Oakenfold, since 97. He was voted #1 by DJ mag in 1999. No one knew him then STILL. Now they're both....at least Oakenfold...is history. Oakenfold isn't the best DJ....he might be the HIGHEST PAID...but not the best. Not even close. He went a bit backwards with the stuff he spins.
