i'm not here to argue the proposed idea of drilling in the artic wildlife refuge, but rather i am informing all those in opposition to opening this land to ecological rape to go to the following website- http://www.nrdcaction.org/index.asp?step=2&item=1189 and write to our senators to tell them that they must not allow this land to be opened to drilling. if you've been following this story, then you know that not a drop of oil will be pumped for 10 years, and even if they do start pumping there won't be nearly enough oil available to make any sort of change in our countrie's petrolium needs. if instead every car in america became more fuel efficient by 3 miles per gallon, then it would completely negate any oil pumped from this pristine habitat.

i said it before and i'll say it again- oakenfold can't mix for shit. yes i HAVE seen him live, which is why i think he sucks. i actually thought he was kinda ok until i saw him live. he fucking blows. i spent 50 bucks to have him throw down every track from another world. my girlfriend who's in buenos arires right now went to "Creamfields buenos aires" last weekend, where they had like 20 big name djs. she said everyone was absolutely amazing except for oakenfold, because not only was his set pretty dull and cheesy, but he was one of the only ones who had any technical problems with mixing. go to hammerstein and shell out 40-50 bucks to hear oakey praise himself for two hours, then head over to soundfactory the next day to hear a real dj (tenaglia) do what real djs should.

I'M SURE THEY'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT CIPRIANA, AND STOP YELLING YOU'RE GIVING ME A HEADACHE. they said "residency" as in being there every month, and i highly doubt that they're gonna have a monthly gig at a a place like cipriana. The thanksgiving party is going to be a special event, not a monthly party. I think it's safe to say that there's gonna be a new club opening before christmas which is going to hold s+d as well as *hopefully* many others (bring lawler back!!!!)
