Yeah whateva I'm in. But not Shampoo thursday. Yeah drinks are still a quarter, and they DO have Philly's best TRANCE DJ's in a respectable setting, but no one goes no matter how hard you promote it. And plus Shampoo is WAY too mainstream. And some of the members that contribute here are below 21, so we either just have to find a quaint little meetup spot and just chill, or have the burden of going to one of Philly's "quality" underage nights. VERY poor management, selection of music, idiotic door policies and geriatric music embodies Philly. Alright Everyone, Let us know what your favorite space is in the city. Just take the space into consideration. Nothing about the type of people or music spun. Personally, I think Exit is up there. Nothing can compare to its space, the smoke machines, the foam maker (snow), the video screens, and all the many rooms. Then comes Float, then Ohm, Aria, Twirl and Centro-fly. Yes its very dominant in Philly. I mean a bar is good once in a while, but the club scene is VERY flawed, and I'm not sure how it will ever compete with NY. Maysoon...Thank you Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!!! Philly is a such a shame it doesn't do anything for me club-wise. It's too mainstream and they have no door policy anywhere, so you'll be partying with kids that have no clue how to dress and have no clue what good music is, and underage nights are 17!! No joke I met a girl at Shampoo once that was 14...it made me sick to my stomach. When I usually go clubbing, it's back to NY I go. I'll tell you this: Exit has lost the beauty that it was associated with in the first 6 or so months of its existance. Now it's more mainstream, but I think it was going to happen to them eventually becase the club is just so big and lets everyone and their mother promote for it.
