Unfortunately, Roxy is not the most amazing club but they certainly did right when pulling in Ornadel. I nearly lost my mind when I heard Insomnia come on. I can't even remember the last time I heard that played in a club......and on phazon too!!! Ornadel was amazing and having my friends around (mah girlZ) made it all the more enjoyable. Watching that little sex show was amusing as hell. I just wish I had thought of pulling my purse out of my bag before it was over.

Yep, House Shopping. I'm thinking of moving to Philly. It's between there and San Diego actually. San Diego would be better but I still have to discuss that with someone. I may not be going house shoppong though cuz I wanna see Vath @ Vinyl on the 7th. Decisions Decisions.

You mean, "expectations of what it once was". There's many peeps here that were on the board when it started, though I may not be one of them, I do know how the board was friendly when I first joined. It's not a matter of how it "should be", but it be nice if it went back to the same, friendly community in which it once was. Yet, since times mean change, I only see this place getting worse with age. It was before your time so I can understand you being unknowing. But check the archives and see how much of a pleasure it was to sign on to Club Planet and rattle all day long with your friends. It's sad how much of a change this board has taken. And it's even more sad how the moderators allow some of this shit to seem condoneable.

Plain and simple, I like Vinyl just how it is. But I have no problem with people who enjoy the music coming in. Im sorry, but a bunch of "label-whores" will never be able to take that party over. In my opinion, anyone should be allowed to enter Vinyl no matter who they are or what they look like. I love the music --- but I can't sit here and say I never popped a pill or did a bump at Vinyl. Does that mean I dont belong there even though I dance there every weekend until the needle comes up on that last record? Theres no way you can pick and choose. Obviously, its much more than the drugs or the appearances and thats why people fill the tiny venue, we ll know and love, up every single weekend. They have to love the music to go there. Why else would they pay admission to a club? Sure, there's people doing drugs but how many are amongst us here? How many if us here wear designer labels? Are you trying to say that cuz I have a D&G t-shirt, I shouldn't be allowed despite my regular attendance? Thats just bullshit!

But I do try to make a habit of knowing what ingredients are in my drinks anymore for those lame ass NYC bartenders that ask "whats in a red devil?" or any other drink of choice for that matter.
