  1. Im keeping my fingers crossed. I dont doubt PVD spinning at SF because he *wants* to come back to us. After the countless emails and phone calls made begging him to return, he can't disappoint us. He's not that type of DJ. Don't think so negative and just keep your hopes up. I've seen PVD 3 tmes since November so I'm one of the lucky ones. Plus, that same week, he'll be spinning club space. I'm not so worried.
  2. According to PVD's management, they don't know for sure if there will or will not be presale of tickets. I'd imagine there would be because selling at the door could be mayheim. As for set time, 6 hours people...
  3. Sasha and Digweed will be at the Electric Factory onMarch 30th in Philly. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door and for this event, you can purchase tickets now. Go here for more details.... http://cc.com/detail.asp?eventID=37910 As for VD's tickets, there hasnt been any word on the price of them or when they will be going on sale. Hell, they have to make sure its definately going to happen this time before selling them ya know. They chose SF for PVD though because at the present time, there is no Friday night lineup. The like the size of the venue and they say the sound isnt so bad - - guess thats why theyre also bringing in their own system. This is gonna be great!! http://www.paulvandyk.de ~kAt~
  4. Im headin to Tequila Joe's tonight with my fam! Any plans??
  5. I'm going down on the 23rd and coming home the evening of the 27th. Some friends and I have a nice condo that we rented though for the more "homey vacation feel" as opposed to the "hotel ick room". Sasha & PVD will be playing Sunday but at different venues. Needless to say, I shall be in Sasha's attendance...If Im reading all the info right, it's a boat party?!!?!?!?!? WHOLY SHIET~ Here's some party info for ya to scroll through. 6. BAHAHHAH Claire! Im ROTF ova that one. Yea, Joey's has tha "NYC" vibe my ass! I fuckin graduated with half those cats. The guidos struttin like they "know" but they dont...the girls act absolutely braindead in the hopes to get one of those "juicers". NYC vibe my ass...yea, it is, if you speak about one of those stuck up venues in NYC. JOEYS SUCKS!
  7. Wow xbebekiss, that *is* long ago. I remember those days. I didn't go there nearly as much as I had the Newark one but I do remember being 13-14 years old and sneaking in to Studio 1. Now *that* was fun and mayheim in one!! Back to notallthere, the place did have a better crowd in the past. I can't really explain it but it's changed. It truely has and I think a lot has to do with the fact Joe now co-owns with some people. He did try making the place a little better though. I'll give him that much. I personally am not fond of the black light responsive carpeting - - particurly the one in the Rock Room that reminds me of bowling pins. But, he did take some walls down to make the dance floor much more accessible from the main hallway in the Club Room, dance room, whatever it's titled. The drinks that I've had were always great. They usually have some of the best contests and what have. The sad thing about Jersey is, or maybe it's soleyl Newark, is that clubs can not serve alcohol after 3AM. Thats Joe's main reason for not doing it. And if he did stay open later, I think it can only to be till 4 with no alcohol and I imagine it's not worth it to him. Sure, it would actually help clear the place out more over that hour for when it does close, but he don't care about that. The bouncers have always done a great job escorting people out at closing. Gee, I'm really starting to miss Joe's. I, for one, carry many memories from there both incredible and bad. Now that the "fun partiers" that I use to hang with there are gone, it's lost it's fun for me. I'd rather keep those good memories then watch them all fade to one bad end. Buuuut, I guess it couldn't hurt to go there once again before it closes in May. ~kAt~ *tequila joes where anything goes*
  8. ~laugh~ Someone actually IM'd me about this post and good Lord do I ever find it funny. I haevn't been to Tequila Joe's in ages but that place use to be the friggin best. It was an "anything goes" from drugs to sex, atmosphere. People dressed from 80's style to punk rock to ghetto bitches and glamour kids. Granted, the place isn't the most appealing to the eye from indoor to out and from person to person but it didn't matter. Sure, the DJs suck. I'll admit it. If I had to hear "Castles in the Sky", "My Love is your Love" and that damn Jennifer Lopez, J. lo, whatever the frig her name is, I was gonna scream. The back right speaker upstairs was the one that was busted for months. Guess it might be again. All you heard was "boom boom boom". Pitiful. As for "Mosh Pit", I dont really know how you could call it that. 8/10 times, people are merely dancing on it. Only when a song thats really popular or old school from House of Pain or NIN did the crowd start "moshing". I use to love that! I'm sure it's changed a lot and I wish it would go back to the old days. The days when Joe was much cooler, the back area was open and better known as "Crack Valley" and crowd was cool to be around. Drink prices, you can't beat though and that's to this year even. $1.50 before 11 when the same drink in NYC, even an open bar considering you gotta tip, would cost at least 4 times that. They need to put the swing back in the karaokee room and get rid of that guy that runs it cuz all he use to sing was "Fuel". Other then that, I love'd that place. It's perfect for an early night.....but after all the drinking you can do, never an early morning. Oh and Im gonna post a pic of that guy later that I think is your "Eminem look alike". Im wondering if its this pompous ass I know...hahahah ~kAt~ *how many hookers did you count by nights end??* Oh and as a side note.......I'd ALWAYS pick TJ's over SF! hahaa
  9. Hell yea Maudy!!! I got into breaks majorly on my trip to Seattle. The vibe in the venues was insane and the DJs was just incredible!! NY is out of the l00p~ lol *bring in da breaks*
  10. Double A-MEN! *when we doin it again?* I fawkin Love Vinyl!! Makes me wanna cry~! **check out andy thinkin hes the shit cuz he knew about Rog before many - lol**
  11. ha ha It was great seeing Maudy without really seeing him! *what about the ground zero police officers*
  12. 1. How old is he? (dont want no wrinkled up pee pee) 2. Is he cute? 3. Married? (then I dont gotta worry about him buggin me for more) 4. What do *I* get out of this in the end?? *of course the greed was going to come through if I am willing to spread my wonderful talent into new pants*
  13. People's own negligence behind closed doors could affect my own closed door life. God forbid I become involved with a man on a romantic level who failed to use protection with a girl and contracts a STD. Even if him and I use protection, that does not guarantee I will not acquire what he has. I'm guessing you never listened in high school when in sex ed and they told you about birth control and contraceptives to protect yourself. This is basically the same type of education. I think it's good that Claire voiced her thoughts. And what's so bad about that? This is a public message board and she noticed some things that just didn't sit well with her. Claire happens to be one of the most incredible, brightest, and sincere women on ANY message board. I commend her for the life which she is leading and I thank her for posting this topic. A little more education and eye opening never hurt anyone. Look at it as a refresher course. You teach history so you don't repeat the past. It's the same principal. BTW Belladiva, may I ask how old you are? Purely out of curiosity. ~kAt~
  14. Bravo Claire! BRAVO!! Nothing wrong with making a public announcement in case someone didn't know. This board is all about repetition usually so its something new to ponder... A penny for your thoughts...
  15. OH SHIT! I just fell off my chair laughing. Sorry..I had to say that. As you were...
  16. girl! get out! I'm in Belleville. What town are you??
  17. You sure you wanna see me after all the trouble Ive been brewing? I didnt think I was on your good list anymore....
  18. u down for a go-go bar?? lol I kinda wanna go play laser tag.
  19. Really....talk about takin a shit... http://vipguestlist.ync.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=000643 that dont look like keepin to urself .... just looks like removing the drama from here and bringing it ova to VIP. Sit back down and let us school you..... We know what we're doing...
  20. Ahhh right down good ole Rt 21
  21. I *love* when you get all fiesty! It's soo damn seXy! *prrrrr* Ahhhh the good ole days. This was what made posting fun! HOURS OF, OH BOY, CATCH THIS....ENTERTAINMENT . Yes my fellow posters, entertainment. Just like television and radio, what we have here is ENTERTAINMENT. i almost pissed my pants today at these cats. This has been the best day in months!!! Gawd, I love it!
