i just "moved" to toronto. ummm... i live(d)in new york city. it's where my home, all my friends and my bf are. came to toronto to renew my visa but US immigrations refuse to let me back into the states though. long sob story. anyways, wanted to ask you where you go to find all the info on who is playing what at what clubs? i looked into "eye" and it really has a shoddy club review section. looked at toronto.com and torontolife.com and nothing. is the only way through flyers in shops on queen street? i would be really happy if someone could give me some pointers about toronto. good parties, good skiing (is there such a thing in ontario?), interesting shows, art galleries??? stranded and lost, nineeyes

oh and the whole project was done based on this paradoxical concept. it's suppose to be young, cheap and fun while maintaining aesthetic integrity. they even have clemente's works there. i love clemente.

definitely try out the hudson. ian schager and philippe starck's new project. it's suppose to be suessical and and alice-in-wonderlandrous. schager himself even described it as an english grandmother on acid. LOL anyways, i'm going to check it out this weekend. not stay there, but take a walk through and explore.

you can check out www.rentdirect.com they might have listings. you have to pay a fee of $150 though. there are other sites that are cheaper. but i can't remember their names. if you go to citysearch.com and look under apaartments they'll give you a listing of those sites they suggest.

been there once and hated it. low class is right. people grabbing and groping left and right. but then again, i think they are working hard to make changes to the scene. bringing in trance nights for one and like russ said bringing some other djs with different styles than the usual WH beats. but until the scene changes... no way am i going back.

break dancing is so cool. it's such a thrill to watch the really good dancers do their stuff. if i could breakdance i'd be showing my stuff off.

i don't understand cheating either... but i guess it's an one eye open, one eye closed thing for most cases. a lack of foresight and disregard of the consequences...
